24 HOUR LOCKSMITH

The guy didn't even bother to OPEN THE MECHANISM. Hey, *I've* done that much. The lock was old, but in the end--after getting another dubious quote--a man at a reputable home store opened it, cut and fixed the spring inside (all that needed to be done, and he would have done it free), and I reinstalled the lock. Done. I must say 24 Hour could have ripped me off worse: charged me a lot for a hard-to-find old part, or an entirely new mechanism (he estimated $150). But what he SHOULD have done is fixed the spring and reinstalled it on the spot. It would have taken 5-15 minutes. I also called 24 Hour after I had the spring fixed, and before I installed it, thinking I would have them do that. Someone promised to call me back, but never did. By that time, I'd done it myself.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE PATIENT WITH ME. THEY WERE ALSO VERY EXPERIENCED. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, TOO.

I FELT THAT THEY WERE VERY TRUTHFUL. I DIDN'T LIKE THAT THEY CHARGED A LOT FOR AN EMERGENCY. HOWEVER, IT WAS CONVENIENT THAT THEY WERE HERE WHEN I NEEDED THEM BECAUSE IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.
