The company did a great job coordinating the design, supplies and workers so the work went smoothly. I contacted a number of Home Advisor recommendations and KBR's price was comparable but they added design and full contract work so I could do as little or as much as I wanted. Just finished and I am happily figuring out where to put everything in my brand new kitchen!

I have to say after all the glowing reviews I saw on this site, I was little disappointed. The initial estimate I got omitted a lot of items. As someone who had never done a renovation before, I didn't realize that things were missing. That combined with the fact that not everything was picked out and ordered before the work started, meant that in the end the final bill was over $10K more than the original estimate. Also, throughout the renovation, I was frustrated when I asked a question and often did not get an answer. Additionally, the contractors damaged some of the work including spilling solvent on my bathroom floor, which damaged the tiles' glaze, and scratching the new kitchen counter, neither of which was repaired despite my repeated requests. In the end I was too worn down to keep asking them to fix things, and I just paid them the balance due. I'm now learning to live with the defects. Overall, everything looks fine, but there are a lot of things, that if you look closely could have been done more carefully. I've heard that people often have issues with contractors, so maybe this is the norm, but when your spending so much money, it seems to me that customer satisfaction should be a priority, and for my renovation, I did not feel like that was the case.

These guys did excellent work and did it on time and on budget. They're smart and tasteful, have good ideas of their own if you need them, or will faithfully execute yours if you don't. We were gun shy when we met Yosi and Adi (a friendly father and son team), we'd been burned by our kitchen contractor, who disappeared whenever a problem arose. These guys were always there for us, whether it was making sure the place was clean (we have a four-year old and were concerned about the dust) or respecting our need to follow a tight schedule. Best of all we have a spectacular new bathroom. Can't say enough good things about KBRNY. Thanks guys!

The project was in an 85 year old building and had a number of complications once the walls were opened etc. KBRNY took care of everything and adapted to the conditions found etc. with suggestions and expertise. I could not be happier with the outcome and must admit the project turned out better than I ever expected. In addition, the quality of the work was of the highest possible quality. Finally, Adi, his father and the two "craftsman" who did the work were perfectionist and made sure the quality of the work was exceptional and if it wasn't up to their standards they would re-do or change it at their own expense and time ...

I was very happy with the way KBRNY handled the project. They were very professional throughout the whole process and provided very insightful suggestions on design that really enhanced my kitchen. All of my concerns were addressed in a timely manner and the finished kitchen looks and works perfectly. I would definitely use them again.

KBR did a great job remodeling my kitchen. They were able to work well with the constraints of my space. They brought some great-looking samples for me to choose from and made excellent choices on elements that I defered to their design (e.g. faucet). They showed dedication to delivering a quality-looking kitchen, redoing the cabinet lighting on their own accord when they thought they could do better. The workers also showed pride in their work and skill in leveling out a bowed floor, but I was glad I was present to supervise to make sure nothing was overlooked. In the end, I'm very happy with my new kitchen

Contractor was very detailed oriented and paid attention to the customer's requests and needs. Contractor supervised workers very well. Contractor reommended and used quality material and workmanship. A true professional anyone should be happy with.

already reccommended to a friend! Extremely reliable. Work was completed on schedule. Principals very creative. Suggested styles which work extremely well and look great. Additionally they are able to work in a tight environment with minimal inconvenience. This company is honest and trustworthy and I highly recommend them.

Star Construction is in the process of renovating my apartment. So far, they have been extremely professional and very responsive to my requirements. They are working on the bathroom at this time.
