I had a plumbing leak since February 2024 whereas the leak was coming from my bathroom shower leaking into my kitchen, when I immediately contacted my home warranty American Shield, they never provided me with a Plumbing contractor. From February 22, 2024 until March 24, 2024, I continued to have leakage. American Home Shield then told me they had no contractors to assist me with my plumbing issues and therefore wanted me to identify a Plumbing contractor and then submit the diagnosis to them for review and approval. I then identified Royal Class Service and they diagnosed the leakage as a Shower Valve Replacement whereas they would need to open drywall from the closet to gain access for repair. The estimate from Royal Class was over $2,000.00. American Home Sheild then sent PROSERVICE HVAC & PLUMBING for a second option located in Connecticut. They stated that Royal Class inflated the cost repair and this Pro-Service Company was supposed now take over the repairs. I waited three more weeks because when I called Pro-Service requesting a date for repair they continuously told me they are waiting for valve they ordered from Home Depot. They are the worse!!! I'm Disabled and was out of my shower usage for three months. Well on a Thursday of early May, I happen to see Neighborhood Plumbing truck and contacted Anthony (contractor). Anthony came to home so professional and concerned to assist me with the well overdue plumbing issue and Neighborhood Plumbing repaired this in less than two hours at a price that was extremely fair and far more less than Royal Class quoted and five star professional than American Home Sheild and Pro-Service located in Connecticut. Please don't get taken by these companies. Anthony could have attempted to inflate his prices and robbed me like Royal Class attempted or he could have never come back to repair just as Pro-Service did. But, Neighborhood Plumbing does not have professional integrity they get the job done at a cost that's not ROBBERY! I had a horrible experience with these former companies and I urge you to seek out Neighborhood Plumbing if you need Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Services. Thank you Neighborhood Plumbing,

I had loss heat in my downstairs floor level. I called two other plumbers, and they never returned my phone call. A previous plumber I used left a bad taste in my mouth as he only wanted to sell me a new unit, and was not interested in fixing the problem. Neighborhood plumbing turned out to be the best selection. This company returned my call quickly, fit me in that day, worked around my schedule, explained my problem, offered a affordable solution and suggested simple part repairs to extend/maintain the life of my boiler. Neighborhood Plumbing will be my go to plumber from now on, i highly recommend this company.

Anthony arrived at the promised time. He worked to clear a basement drain clogged with hardened grease, and had to use two different sized electric augers to gain access to the problem from two directions. He thoroughly explained prospective costs in clearing this clogged cellar drain before he started work in October 2015. The man knows how to use his equipment well, yet he worked for two hours before completing the job. His fee was reasonable. But in June 2016 the same job was less complicated than before, required less time and was done during the normal business day (about noon), and not after 5 pm as during the first call, yet the charges were noticeably higher. It is better to get an estimate before you agree to any project.

On time and friendly and very knowledgeable

On time, very polite, fixed the clog. A little overpriced for just snaking out a laundry drain, that's my only real complaint.

They were the answer to prayer as this problem came during the hottest days of this Summer. I can't say enough about Anthony as in 52 yrs living at this house, he is the only one who returned the call within minutes, came to the emergency, called when on bridge and delayed for a short time. The best ever, and analyzed the problem, ordered the ICC board, even came over on Sunday morning (courtesy call) to reset the AC until the board came in, and in the meantime I had no AC.. Came on a Sunday morning - who would do that, but he did. Very appreciated here - Anthony is the best ever. Problem resolved - we got everything - job well done, very fair price and courtesy from a very decent person.
