Reyes Painting Corp

Two weeks ago we hired Reyes Painting Corp to paint our home. They showed up every day on time, worked hard, and cleaned up each day. After power washing the house, they sanded the chipped paint off of each shingle. And nailed down every loose shingle. The bottom part of house is stucco which had many cracks, and so did the retaining wall. The leader of this very professional crew is Margarito Reyes. He takes great pride in his work and filled each crack & smoothed each one out. He explained everything he was doing, and listened to what we wanted. All the care taken with the prep work made the paint job turn out spectacular! We could not believe our older home could look so beautiful. People passing by in their cars complimented their work & asked for their number. We highly recommend Reyes Painting Corp. Margarito’s attention to details was amazing You’ll see him checking every inch. And no financial surprises. He sticks to his proposal. He even power washed some of the surrounding area free of charge. It was the most stress-free home renovation we ever had!

Margarito is the most detail-oriented painter I have ever encountered in 10 years of using many, many painters.  He worked at my house for approximately two weeks and was always on time, showed up with all of the equipment he needed to do the job, was professional and friendly with my entire family (even my kids running around in his work area) and was incredibly honest and forthright with his quote.  Margarito repaired extensive rotten trims in my 110-year old house, rebuilt a large roof vent by hand, rebuilt four window trims by hand, restored and sealed century-old historic glass windows and taught me all about proper painting and repair techniques all along the way. When something was rotten, or needed to be repaired/replaced he would photograph it on his iPhone and climb down the ladder to show me and to discuss recommendations - leaving nothing to mystery.  There was no job too big or too small for Margarito and his team while working at my home.  In addition, each night during the job, my yard and other work areas were cleaned and all equipment was safely stored.  Margarito and his team are honest, Margarito personally completes or at the very least supervises all of the work and his standards are incredibly high.  He has also completed several interior projects for us, including extensive plaster repairs, baseboard repair and replacement - including safely working around previously-applied lead paint - skim coating, bondo work to recreate trims around windows and doors and always with a professionalism that makes me look for more projects to keep him coming back.  He has also painted raw wood, custom cabinetry and installed wainscoting for me.  Margarito is an artist.  Suggestions: if you are planning to use other subcontractors at the house while Margarito is painting, especially flooring crews, I suggest scheduling Margarito to arrive after the flooring is complete.  During an earlier project, I made that mistake and realized flooring dust disrupts the paint.  Also, please note that Margarito's quotes are not necessarily always the cheapest and I have used other painters on previous projects with regret.  I have even asked Margarito on separate occasions why his quotes came back higher than others, and he is happy to explain his methods and cost basis.  I feel like an informed buyer thanks to Margarito, another example of his honesty.  Rest assured you will be receiving top-tier craftsmanship with Margarito and his team.  Highly recommended.

Margarito and his crew are prompt, professional, neat, and talented.  They do a complete job, no shortcuts.  I have always been very happy with his service and always use Margarito when I need painting done.
