Manhattan Air Conditioning Co

1. The head of the company is Dan Ledden. He was responsible for installing three air conditioners in my New York apartment. None of them have ever worked properly because it turned out they were the wrong size. 2. None of them were even connected to the thermostat as they were supposed to have been. And at a later time, I foundo out it was because he didn't have an electrician to make that happen. 3. It causted me a great deal of problems with leaks to the floors below because the air conditioners were improperly installed. They were not level. I had to pay the damages caused by these leaks to the apartment below mine. I repeatedly went back to Mr. Ledden to complain about the problems. And when I found out that the air conditioners were the wrong size all together, I asked him to remove them and take them back. He would neither repair them nor take them back. My superintendent intervened and without my consent ultimately settled with Mr. Ledden for $1,000. This did not nearly cover the $12,000 that he had charged for the installation of the non-working air conditioners, nor for the damages I had to pay to the neighbors. It has taken until now, July 2012, to get this whole ordeal straightened out and find a new vendor to replace my air condition units. I just want to make sure that nobody uses this company ever again
