They took the car the day I called and had it ready for pick up the next morning. The car works fine.
The shop is professionally run and both the owner, Nick and his daughter Sarah are courteous and friendly. The prices are fair and much less than my old mechanic who never gave me a major repair bill under a grand. I recommend this shop for your car repairs.

I have been u sing Cand C for several years and Nick is consistently courteous, professional, fast and delivers positive results. When, in the rare instances he feels that repairs are beyond his scope, he is quick to say so, but little seems to be beyond his scope.

Very nice service. Dependable. Have been using them for servicing our auto for at least 6 years. Reasonable prices and they accept a 10% AAA discount.

I called the auto shop and told them that the new battery of my 10 year car was not maintaining a charge. My car was also burning oil smell, had smoky exhaust on acceleration and the engine was very hot even after short runs. I had the car's battery, alternator, electrical boards, spark plugs and ignition coil all newly installed less than a year earlier (at 3 different shops). I was distraught. I had put a lot of money into the car in the past year and had reached my limit. (The car was a "gift" for helping an elderly aunt who hadn't driven the car in 4 years and needed it out of her driveway.) I had already spent more money getting the car on the road than it was worth (pre-owned and in "excellent" condition). I joined Angie's List and found this shop in my neighborhood. I explained my dilemma and they let me bring it in. It died right on the street outside their shop. The Office Managers responded immediately, quickly and cheerfully jumped my car and drove it onto their lot. They replaced my year-old alternator with a new brand that it came with a AAA guarantee. They also discovered that the oil leak was from a missing $12 plug and not a punctured oil pan (or worse). I was very grateful for their professionalism.

Called the shop the previous day and asked if I neede an appointment for the inspection and was told to just bring it in. I arrived about 9:00am and was finished about 9:20am. Straighforward and they were respectful.

Nick and Sarah are amazing!! We have used them about 5 times since the spring. They are extremely honest, fair and complete the work quickly. We have a 2005 passat wagan, this last time I brought the car in for an oil change and to check a leak in the coolant system. I brought it in on my lunch break, they drove me back to work and had it finished by 3:00. They flushed out my coolant system, cleaned all around the area and said they would check for sure where they thought the leak was coming from at next oil change. So far no more problems.
Over the summer we were having issues with our check engine light coming on, they made several different repairs, according to the codes showing up, but didnt charge me until we were sure the check engine light didnt come back on. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them for any and all car issues in the future.

Great service. They picked up our car from our home in the late morning. Called us with an estimate in the afternoon, we picked it up in the evening. Now it's running great.

Great place, worth it's weight in gold. I'd
nearly given up trying to find a good and honest mechanic in the NY City
area. Well this place is. Well worth the 16 mile drive from NY. They
did a great job for me. Pep Boys had failed me on my NY State
inspection without explaining why and told me I needed to get my
transmission rebuilt immediately. Nick got me through the inspection
(he fixed the check engine light that was causing the failure) and told
me that while the transmission would probably have to be rebuilt
eventually it didn't have to be done immediately. He was friendly and
patiently explained everything to me. And he only charged me the price
of the inspection. CC has won me as a loyal customer.

Picked the car up right away, fixed it, and dropped it right off.

Fair price, very polite, respectful, reasonable in terms of time and a very good job.

The particular event on the date in question was a broken water pump that they repaired the morning we brought the car in.

They were excellent and reliable. They always call you back. They seem fairly priced; they also gave me an automobile club discount.
