Great. This was my first time using Angie's Lift to find a contractor and it went great. I had multiple problems while ordering the material from Home Depot and our contractor, Anthony, handled them all for us. The bathroom looks great, everything works and the workers were very respectful of the rest of the house while ding the work. Overall, it was great and I would definitely use again.

It was sometimes good but mostly bad. Tony was hardly on site and while his guys were pleasant they were definitely from the c team. The work was done between July and Sept. And not all the things by the way, I had to cut things off of the list because work was being done slow and I got no advice from Tony, because again he was hardly on site. I when out and bought things that had to be returned because I got no guidance from Tony who did this for 16 years. If you come to my house now you will see cracks in the paint and joints around windows and doors, as for the walls and baseboard the work was bad and the corrections didn't help. I picked this company based on all the A reviews on this site but the person who gave the F is the only person I feel that really worked with this company. Their is so much I can say about the work, but what would be the point. They cut the heating pipes for my radiation, upon my request. But you think as an experience professional he would have advise me to not do it. Anyway the cut the pipes and did not cap them. Especially the one in my upstairs bathroom which was given a new tile floor. The did not patch the wholes on the main floor he gave me a cover you would use to protect the wall from the door know making a hole, to cover it, very professional. He had less work but it still took him the same amount of time it would have taken for the original quoted items. Some days only one guy from his team was here. The electrical work had to be redone. I told him from day one my issues with the house was electrical and that I needed new outlets and more outlets added and rewiring of the main floor. His guys added new wires to old wires and I had to remind them that I need more outlets. I asked from day one for a half bar with an island he gave me just the island and tried to force me to accept it because he messed up. I picked the style of the cabinet but he measured and put in the order that turned out to not fit the space properly. Again for someone who got do many A's I don't understand why his work looks like it was someone who started in this business last week. Update 2/27/21 I laid out in my previous review some of the issues I had with this company and Tony the owner respond stating that me an my husband were "very argumentative", and we did have one argument with Tony on the final day when we tried to point out the issues we had with the work and he was dismissive. At one point he called me picky because I wanted the counter tops they way I asked from the being and not what he wanted to do. Please know, I know the work I wanted was going to be expensive and we had the funds set a side to fix the electrical before we did anything else, so no we did not use our frustration as a tactic not to pay, sorry Tony that's bs. Where was the 17 years of expertise to advise us on the layout for the bathrooms and what size items should be bought based on a layout that should have been given or discussed with us. He talked a good game on day one but really the work done and approved by him was work of someone who just started in the business. We wanted the work he agreed to and we did not get that and that made us frustrated and very argumentative. While we did have another situation with another company Tony was never their when that work was going on and when he came to the house and saw the work he agreed that the person did a ****** job and so did a judge, so he need to not mention this again. Right is Right he agreed that he can do the things we asked him to do and we expected quality work done by a knowledgeable crew. Not one guy most of the time. I stated from day one that this is an old house with electrical & plumbing issues and that should be corrected. Tony and his guys dismissed that an ran new lines onto old wires that would later cause an overload on my fuses and when I told him that was not what should happened he said he would put his unlicensed electrician up against any licensed electrician. I told him that he would have to get a license electrician to check the work, the electrician Fabio did put in a new fuse box and stated he wish that they hadn't already worked on the walk because it limit the work he can do to correct the issues I wanted Tony to pay attention to. Then even thought I took things off of the list of item on the original estimate he would take off the line but never adjust the tax. We were "very argumentative" because Tony was not on site to instruct his guys and the one day he did come because we were frustrated with the pace he tried to put up the sliding door in the basement bathroom and he did it incorrect (don't forget Tony I have text communication for this along with all the other issues we had), the glass door was slanted and he cut a line in the tile that is still their today. His guys left either pencil marks on the white tile in the main bathroom that I am still trying to figure out how to get off to date. The tiles in both bathrooms were not cheap and the machine they used to cut the tiles caused cracks and a lot of broken tiles. So we kept having to go back to the tile store to get more tiles. Tony will try to say that we brought the wrong amount of tiles, but if that's the case then that's because he never told me the square footage to buy it was a guess on our side. Tony you really had some nerve trying to put this on me on my husband when we were only trying to stand up for what was right. You agreed to have a full crew on site and you know we did not have that. We took jobs off of the original estimate which means job removed and what was left should have been done in less time but you still manage to keep to the same time line and took extra time.

My family has known Mr. Gonzalez for many years and we have consistently relied on his creative vision, ability to transform any idea into a tangible reality, precise attention to detail and affordable solutions. He has been at the helm of our renovations in our pre-war Harlem apartment for several years - which anyone who knows architecture, means that a lot of trust, experience and ingenuity is required when dealing with such a vintage gem. Kitchen reno? Check. Electric rewiring for the entire approx. 1400sq feet (remember - prewar apartment! That's a BIG project) and recessed lighting? Check. Even aesthetic reno projects like painting and construction of storage spaces are possible. I strongly recommend Mr. Gonzalez and his team!!

Mr. Gonzalez (aka Tony) and his team are expert professionals. and craftsman. They transformed my home into a work of art. No kidding. They also took especially good care of the property when abiding by bldg rules. Great team and great work!

Given my negative experience and the positive reviews given this contractor it seems that his focus changed right before my job was started-- we spoke in November 2018 and our job was scheduled for end of March of 2019. Let me say up front that this review takes into account inadequate due diligence on my part and am writing it partly as a warning to do it fully before hiring any contractor. I had looked for the Attention to Detail website and found it -there were nice photos of work and the name of this company really caught my interest as the details are important to me. The contractor had provided a more than reasonable estimate for updating of two baths which was appealing since my husband and I did not want to over-invest, anticipating retirement in next few yrs. and home values in our complex. So we agreed though he asked for 50 percent down just to reserve a date---a big mistake. When I first met with Anthony, he presented as though anything could be done but did not really provide information about the details involved in actually executing the work and I should have pressed that before our down payment was given. We had many complications because of the way our job was managed and because of issues with village permits needed and limitations of his workers in executing details in Master bath, so long story short- we did not have him finish the job which wound up costing us a lot more after all was said and done. Anthony is very amiable and presents with the intention of doing good work, so these outcomes were very disappointing .Many lessons learned here. Don't just look at a website. When doing your search, ask for licenses and details about permits needed in your town, the workers (will they clean up after themselves? these guys were messy) and how the work will be done up front. A 50% deposit is not reasonable.

Hiring Attention to Detail was my best decision to-date in 2020. It can be a daunting experience as a woman, with limited knowledge about home improvement and renovation, to hire a contractor and trust they will be honest and your space will be transformed EXACTLY how you imagined. Anthony, the owner, and his crew of workers displayed an interest in making sure my space was beautifully renovated and met all my functional needs. They offered practical solutions in response to my ideas about what I wanted my space to look like, at affordable rates. Anthony and his crew were always professional, kind, and adaptable. I always felt comfortable around his team and they consistently wore their personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure we were all safe during these uncertain times. Anthony was also able to save me money through his professional contacts on materials and supplies. He was consistently focused on trying to keep me within my budget, and that’s rare. He really cares about his clients and the quality of his work is exceptional. Go with Attention to Detail, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely terrible.

Very easy to work with. Workers were careful and did a good job. Returning calls before job started was poor, but had Anthony's undivided attention during job.

Anthony is a great contractor. He can envision your project, and quickly turns around a fair quote to get the project going. He doesn't nickel and dime and does high quality work. He's flexible and patient. I would definitely hire him again. For this project, he added some upper cabinets, installed a large kitchen island, exposed a brick wall, installed a new power outlet, installed a doorbell, sourced and installed a garbage disposal, and sealed my windows - he and his (great) team really can do anything you need them to!

Attention to Detail Home Improvement did a wonderful job. The owner, Tone, was a pleasure to work with. He really does pay attention to details. Although the completion of the work took longer than estimated, in then end, we love it. Tone is very pleasant, professional and will deliver on your final look. We would recommend using Attention to Details Home Improvement for your remodeling needs.

Anthony is a highly-skilled, professional contractor with a personality that will win you over. But he's not just friendly; he's someone you can fully trust. My husband and I hired him to transform our bathroom from a 1950s mess to a luxurious sanctuary. He understood our vision and helped us get through the finish line despite some challenges with some of the items we ordered online. He is a skilled carpenter. We were impressed with the heating covers he updated for us. Anthony is fully licensed, with a crew that also works quickly and professionally. While I don't miss the weeks of construction, we will miss connecting with such an amazing group of people.

It went very well. The work was performed as discussed and in a timely bases. I particularly like the fact that I was in constant contact with the Contractor.

My experience with Anthony was awesome. I've dealt with other contractors on projects and none were as knowledgeable about product and suggestions as well as Anthony. He never pushed anything on us and helped us stay with in budget, while providing an excellent service. The quality of his work was top notch and Anthony went above and beyond to give us a beautiful bathroom. We will definitely stay with this Contractor!

I am very happy with Attention To Detail Home Improvement LLC, headed by Anthony. His quote for the work was on average with other contractor bids I received but his quick responses to my inquiries is what made him stand above the others. He was patient with all my questions and never BS'd me about any of the particulars; he said his work would take 10 working days and that's exactly how long it took. I wanted to be very involved in all of the material choices not only for aesthetic reasons but because past experience with contractors always had me leery of getting scammed but Anthony proved that my suspicious thinking was way wrong, as he actually found me better deals than those I had priced on my own. I was not available for the final day of their work so I could not make sure all of the little details that come with finishing a newly renovated kitchen were taken care of but upon returning to finally inspect the finished kitchen I was amazed at the outcome - it turned out exactly how I wanted. Even finding some items that needed his attention such as a small area of grout coming up & one electrical outlet not working he was quick to respond to these issues and made it back to correct them within the week. I would and will contact Attention To Detail Home Improvement LLC again when I am ready for my next project.

Anthony was amazing, very punctual gave me a great deal, very professional , extremely creative and attentive to detail. He' is also flexible with his time, he is accommodating my schedule.

The first job was great. It was done in approximately 4-5 weeks. The kitchen came out beautiful, new cabinets were installed and the kitchen was painted. There was a wall that had a popcorn finish that I wanted removed and it was, and came out really nice and smooth. The floor installation in the living and bedroom are beautiful and were professionally done. Anthony and his crew of workman were efficient and professional. He responded to any questions that I may have had as the job was progressing. Overall, I was totally satisfied with the finished product. The 2nd job is expected to be finished this month (September).

Anthony remodeled the kitchen with repainting the cabinets, walls, changing countertop, extending to create a bar and installed a new floor. He was very pleasant to work with, happy to adjust along the way, and put attention to details as he takes pride of his work. I recommend him.

Anthony is professional and friendly. His pricing was very fair and reasonable. He responded quickly to the job and it was completed beautifully in 2 days. We will definitely hire him again and highly recommend Attention to Detail Home Improvement.

Excellent experience. Contractor extremely professional and knowledgeable. Was kept informed of progress throughout the project. The work was beautifully done with excellent attention to detail. We had received other quotes for the job. Not only was the price right but the job quality was stellar. And they even finished the project ahead of the deadline!!!!! My in-laws are currently using them for a kitchen renovation and couldn't be happier with the referral. We will definitely be using this company for our next home project.
