AQUA PLAY POOL & SPA

All went well until the installation was done.  The pool heater stopped working on 7/6/14, one month to the day after the propane tanks were installed and the heater was hooked up.  I called Joe from aquaplay and he gave me a number of a pool tech.  He didn't offer me any other help.  I had this tech come over twice, once to diagnose the issue, then a second time to replace a part which didn't work either.  After repeatedly calling Aquaplay, I was told that Joe was on vacation and that nobody in his store was qualified to help me out with this.  Finally after 2 weeks of trying, I got in touch with him at his store.  I asked if he could replace the heater and he agreed.  3 days later he called and said that the heater manufacturer, Raypak, was having problems with this model heater and that there was a spring that needed to be replaced.  Mind you that this call was on 8/21/14, 6 weeks after I first contacted him.  I've been trying to contact Joe since Monday 8/25 and he is never in the store and NEVER answers his messages that I left on his cell phone.  I took it upon myself to contact the Raypak rep in my area.  He told me if my dealer had called him a couple of weeks ago my problem would have been resolved by now.  Now I have to wait until 9/3 for the rep to come over and replace the spring himself.  Meanwhile, I have a huge party planned for the Labor Day weekend, and as cool as this summer has been, and how cold my pool water is, nobody will be enjoying the pool.  Thanks Joe!  What I am saying is that Aquaplay will always respond if there's a sale involved, but once there's a problem he's nowhere to be found.  Beware of Aquaplay Pools!

Its more about the installer but if that who they are using then they should stand behind their services. When we first had the pool installed they kept delaying and coming up with various excuses. Coming back after to reopen the pool we practically had to beg them to come back. Also, they are the ones who leveled the area and put down sand. They did a poor job which led to our getting a hole in the liner. Now we have to purchase a whole new liner. After illegally hooking up their hose to the fire hydrant down the street in the middle of the night because they wanted to fill it faster, my husband actually got arrested because we were the homeowners and then had to pay the Water Company over a $1000.00. We couldn't even fight it. Buyer Beware!!! Do not use their installers!!!and had their installers level the area, put down sand and put up the pool.

I called in November and asked to have an indoor pool heater installed.  Was quoted a price of $1,300 plus $400 installation and an installer came to my house.  It doesn't seem Aqua Play has its own installers and instead sub-contracts the installation.  Each time I called to follow-up on the initial quote I was given another reason for the delay.  Over a month later, Aqua Play put me in touch with another installer who quoted me $2,600.  At that point, I simply gave up.  Perhaps if your job is bigger, Aqua Play would provide more attentive service, but my experience with them was frustrating at best.

They are very good at being able to provide detailed information on their products. They were very reasonable with great service people.
