Prime Air are truly outstanding, in an industry full of unscrupulous actors -- Highly Recommended! I don't generally write reviews, but this was the best service I've ever received from company... ever. Having bought an apartment a year ago which came with a ductless AC system installed in 2001, I was prepared for the worst when 2 of my 7 wall units stopped cooling and started leaking. 3 HVAC specialists from 3 separate companies (which I won't name) told me that the entire system needed replacing at a cost ranging from $25,000 to $40,000. Then came Nick from Prime Air... Thank GOD for him and for companies like Prime Air which still operate with honesty and integrity. It turned out that the coolant in my system simply needed replacing. This was not super-easy, because this coolant is no longer used in current HVAC systems, but Nick and his colleague Andrew sourced the coolant, came back a few days later, did the refuel, fixed a faulty diagnostic unit on one condenser, got my AC working beautifully again... and charged me a grand total of $500!!! I couldn't believe it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Prime Air... when the time does come for me to replace my HVAC system there is only one company I will turn to.

Delivery and installation was two days earlier than expected to help my elderly mother (91) and elderly aunt (97) have a new air conditioner as soon as possible during the hot weather (our old air conditioner suddenly broke down). The area was left clean. The workers were nice and genuine. There was one person. It was pretty simple. They left the air conditioner cover on the back patio.

I spoke to Harriet and she ordered the exact size air conditioner that I needed.  The two men who came to install it were very professional and courteous.  They worked very neatly and had my old unit removed and the new one installed in no time at all. My family and I have been using Prime Air Conditioning for many years and they have never disappointed us.  They always deliver top-notch service at a competitive cost.  I highly recommend them.

My ancient (20+ years) Friedrich in-wall air conditioner stopped blowing cold air on a Saturday. I figured I might need to get rid of it, but I thought it might be worth finding out if it was something simple that needed to be fixed. Since these in-wall units are not as popular these days, I knew it might be hard to find someone to take a look at it, especially on short notice in the summer. I called a couple of places with no luck, then found this place on Angie's list. I was happy to see other reviewers make mention of having in-wall air conditioners as well so I called. Although it was late Saturday afternoon, Harriet answered the phone and was pleasant to deal with. She let me know that there is a $70 service call plus repair. That seemed the going rate. I knew they also sold and installed air conditioners as well, including the newer Friedrichs, so that was a plus. They were able to schedule me for Tues, which was sooner then I thought. When I called Tues morning, as directed, they gave me a reasonable window of when to expect them. The repair person came and advised us that it was the compressor, which he could fix, but especially given the unit's age it might not last  too long. He also advised us about the type and cost of current units they sold. Fortunately, my husband had been to 2 stores the day before and had an idea of how much these units cost, and what the usual charges are to install.  Prime's prices were not only in the same ballpark, but they could install it today! That was a much better situation than the appliance stores! Within hours, a different team came with a modern in-wall unit, removed the old (and rusted!) A/C, and installed it neatly. The whole process was as smooth as I could have imagined.
I had confidence that this company would be good, given the positive reviews on Angie's list, and they truly WERE  a pleasure to deal with.

Update;
I just wanted to add that the company contacted me in the Fall to ask if we wanted to purchase a custom cover for the A/C. They were able to come when I wasn't home and install the cover. Again, an easy and pleasant transaction. Highly recommended.

Where to begin?  The experience was near heavenly from start to finish.  They were responsive to my needs, had the equipment I required, scheduled the date of installation for the next day, arrived on time, installed and explained the operation of the equipment in a clear, professional manner, answered all my questions and were ever so pleasant.  Though not the cheapest place in town, you get what you pay for and I am most thoroughly satisfied.

My appointment was fine. I have been working with Prime Air Conditioning for many years. I have purchased all my air conditioners from them. They have installed them all and remove all covers in the spring and replace them in the fall. All covers are custom made to accommodate the air conditioners that they installed. Bravo, Prime!  From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience.  Prime is a family-run company and boy, do they know how to satisfy the customer.  We dropped in one hot sunny afternoon to inquire about replacing our old dinosaur A/C and we were treated so nicely.  The recommendation was given to upgrade our existing unit and we agreed.  The unit was installed quickly and professionally.  I am so grateful for their expertise; my house is cooler than it's ever been.   Thank you for your skill and kindness.

My very old air conditioner totally died July 2. I called Prime and spoke to Harriet. She is a gem. I felt like I was speaking to my aunt, not a person trying to get my business. Since I live in a co op apartment there were certain special requirements that I needed and Harriet talked me through it. Between waiting for the co op paperwork and the 4th of July holiday, they did the work on the 5th. The team of 3 that arrived worked like a well oiled machine. They each knew their job and got to work on it. There were some special problems with my air conditioner removal (the fools who did the old air conditioner installation cemented it in) but they were prepared for anything. They worked so neatly  you would not believe any work had been done. They installed a wooden frame around the air conditioner and put clear caulking around the seam. No bugs are getting in through that AC. They worked very quickly and efficiently. The price was $1440 plus tax. I gave that a grade of B but honestly I don't know if that is a good price or not. If you need to have an air conditioner installed in the wall through brick there are no people in the area who want to tackle it, especially if you have apartment house requirements. They did this work with no fuss for me. This work was worth every penny. I know that if you use Prime you will be more than satisfied with their work.

Have used this company for years, always very friendly, and have been prompt and on time. They sell  QUALITY products, not cheapo junk models like Home Depot etc. You can talk to them like family!

WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN but offer three suggestions to them to make them better:
1. Please replace one of your real rust bucket vans. The paint and body is gone, and it makes your company look shabby. Makes it look like I hired fly-by-night people. 
2. Three installers came to the house, and one by one, asked to use the bathroom upon entering the house. Try to take care of this elsewhere.
3. Please don't work on brand new a/c sleeve while it is on the cement sidewalk. You scratched the paint off one of the corners, and scrached the paint off the "F" emblem on the a/c. There were carton flaps and styrofoam and lawn to do that on. Thanks.

They are efficient and clean.  They did a great job.

They put the wooden thing around it and it works well. They didn't look professional, but they were. They did a fine job and everything worked out well. I really have no complaints.

Overall, a good job. Could not be happier.
