I purchased a unit that actually goes in the room and it vents to outside. The unit is a good unit. I needed some custom work done to use the unit, but that's not their fault. The subcontractor wasn't too helpful in terms of, all he said was, you have the wrong window, we can't install it. I had to have my contractor figure out what the problem was.

I have not had any trouble with it. I have used them for a number of years, because I have to buy quite a bit of appliances. I generally deal with one person and I don't think he was there that day. When you have different sales people you don't get the same level of service. He knows me, I buy products in there all the time. It would be better if they had the same customer service. They deal with people that just come in one time, and I have been buying from them for more than 20 years. If everyone is a repeat customer and you buy two or three times a year, you should get different treatment than somebody that is making their first purchase.

Washing machine that we picked out was delivered on time;it leaked when installed and tested. P.C. Richard truck driver said he could solve the problem by replacing what he considered a weak (manufacturer's) clamp. When he couldn't find one in his truck, I offered him an assortment from my workbench, he chose one and installed it. He thought he had solved the problem. Two washes later, the floor was flooded and I contacted our salesman, who said that he would arrange a service call..
The earliest convenient time for a service call from Richard's subcontracted service company was a week later. The serviceman said that he would need to order a replacement part, which would take at least two weeks to arrive, at which time I could make another appointment to have it installed. I advised him that a) I was paying for a brand new machine and was not going to accept a refurbished one; and b) I was not going to go another two weeks or more without a working washing machine.
I contacted our salesman and advised him similarly. He said that our washer was out of stock and was expected in about two weeks. I insisted that he find another washer, acceptable to me, immediately available. Five days later, P.C. Richard delivered and installed a different brand of washer.
In total, we had to spend two weeks without a functioning dishwasher ? we drove our dirty laundry over to the house of one of our daughters ? and set aside three different days for deliveries and repairs.
Even so, I didn't hold it against the salesman, who seemed to have done his best. In fact, when we were in the market for a new dishwasher in December, we went back to P.C. Richard and sought the salesman out. He immediately launched into a sales pitch for a brand we had never heard of, and balked at showing us anything else. Midway through, another couple came in looking for dishwasher, and their salesman began the same pitch for the same off-brand. It appeared to us that P.C. Richard had uncertified their salesforce to push this brand to the exclusion of all others.
I don't know what the other couple did. We walked out drove to another retailer, were shown a variety of dishwashers and bought one on the spot. Oh, yes ?? we vowed never to return to P.C. Richard ever again.

My brand new (3 weeks installed) dishwasher broke. While I was irate that a new one would not be provided they agreed to send service out. My issues with the store are separate to the service. They were a bit late but overall it was ok.

I have since returned to the store, 10 minutes before closing on New Year's Eve, where I purchased the TV to return the wall mount, and get money back for the wall mounting that never took place. Money was refunded without a problem. I was going to cancel the 3-year warranty I purchased with the TV, but the Manager of the store convinced me not to.
