They were on time and professional. They wrapped all the fragile furniture and put fragile things like glass table tops into crates. They were fast and efficient, a lot of patience because a lot of the pieces had difficulty fitting through the entry way of the new house. And a lot of pieces had to go up a flight of narrow stairs! Nothing got damaged in the move which is amazing! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has a difficult move!

If you are moving and in a dilemma about which moving company to hire, your search is over.  Gentil  Movers is by far the best moving company I have ever worked with.  Communication is superior.  Before my move,  came to my house to give an estimate. He answered every question I had and I knew this company was the one I would hire. Afterwords, I called several times with various questions.  Before the phone rang 3 times, someone always picked up and answered my questions cheerfully and completely.  Our moving date was not determined until just a few days before closing…so stressful…but not for Gentil  movers…they held several dates for me tentatively.  Now…let’s get to the actual move.  Amazing, incredible, remarkable, inspiring.  These men were strong, they were organized, they were helpful, they were untiring. Greg was in charge from beginning to end, and what a job he and his crew did.  Not a scratch on the wall, not one item damaged, everything moved to the exact spots we requested.  Simply perfect.  Do not hesitate to hire this company. They are at the top of their game in every way.

What a pleasure using Gentil Moving Services.  All the logistics leading up to the move were handled by Paul and Mike in a professional manner.  Dan and his crew came the day before and packed, wrapped and loaded the truck for our move.  Next day they loaded the first stop onto a second truck.  Our move to an apartment and the balance to storage went smoothly.  Dan?s guys were friendly, helpful and most of all efficient.  Thank you Dan and crew.  P.S. The final cost was less than estimated.  What could be better than that.  When we move our belongs out of storage to a new home Gentil is surely the way to go.  The Gentil touch definitely worked for us.

Paul came to our home initially to give us an estimate. He explained everything they would do and gave us some helpful pointers. We packed ourselves. They showed up on time and worked very quickly to empty our house and then on to our new house which was close by. There were no issues or problems and they finished before the estimated time and we were only charged for the actual time it took - no hidden costs. The crew was very nice and careful with our furniture. I would definitely use them again!

This was the second time we have used this company and we would absolutely recommend them. The owner Paul gives accurate and fair quotes. He deals with changes and issues quickly and easily. The crews are super professional and pleasant.  Greg and crew are super. I have some very heavy pieces from living in Asia and they moved them to different parts of the room while I made up my mind. They had to carry a couch up to the 10th floor because it would not fit the service elevator!! They did not complain. They were like hey no big deal....I couldn't believe it. I was happy to tip them but there was none of the usual strong arming you get from movers. They were just appreciative. I have moved a lot because I lived overseas and all over as a journalist. This is the best company I have dealt with. Ever. And that includes the ridiculously meticulous companies in Tokyo....

They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was up most of the night and ran out of boxes in the early hours of the morning. They showed up on time and helped me figure out how to get the rest of the stuff packed. Then they loaded up and moved me. A great crew and a great job. A few scuffs on walls (came off with Fantastik) and one small mar on a dresser. The only thing the broke was replaced by Paul (1 tile on a table).

They were very reliable. They came when they said they were going to come, they were very careful with all of my stuff, they were extremely nice, they were polite and courteous and they arrived at my location shortly after I did and they had to travel on roads that trucks had traveled on so it's not like they were goofing around and got lost for a couple of hours. They were really conscientious. They moved my stuff to a house in the mountains and they had to carry the stuff outside to go around the back. They were terrific, they were really great. They put everything down when I wanted it, they moved my rug, they were really nice. Really. really. really good. I'd recommend them in a second.

They were fantastic. moving can be a very traumatic experience; but, the Gentil crew made it almost fun! Very personable yet totally professional

 move into our new home. Only breakage I found was in a carton I packed filled with corningware. Very reliable company!

There aren't ratings high enough for this company.  The owner Paul Gentil and his workers went above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful.  They did a wonderful job!

The service was very good. They showed up on time and told us when they were leaving to come to the area I requested. They did everything the right way. Their services were very fast and efficient as well.

We chose Gentil Moving Company because they were local, their estimate was in the moderate range, and the staff were extremely professional.  
We had to reschedule the move between 20 and 30 times in a 2 month window (at least that’s what it felt like!) Gentil’s scheduling staff was always accommodating to our ever-changing closing date. We wound up having to push our moving date up a week at the last minute and were given the same courtesy to do so as the many times we had to postpone. The scheduling department was very organized and understanding.
Gentil quoted us $130/hour for a 3-man job but on the day of the move, they had an extra truck and 2 movers available so 5 guys and 2 trucks were sent at $200/hour. Because of the extra movers, we actually came in $200 under the estimate. The 5 guys that moved us were extremely pleasant and friendly. They joked around throughout the job – while safely transporting our belongings of course! – which made a very stressful event somewhat enjoyable. 
Every piece of furniture was wrapped and moved with care. A recliner, a dining room table, and a refrigerator needed to be taken apart for the move and all were re-assembled perfectly. They even removed air conditioners from the windows (something that we should have had done before the move!) and tried to install one that wound up not fitting in the new home (didn't fit). Absolutely nothing was damaged in the move.
This was our best moving experience in 35 years.

They were very good. Their moving staff was very concerned and careful. All of the belongings were transported without damage.

The actual price was less than the bid they quoted. They had a very nice crew and had more than enough people to do the work. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were a fun bunch to work with. They helped us pack some things that were not packed yet and provided some additional packing materials. They didn't charge us for that. They were excellent.

They were excellent and the price was as low as possible. The movers were very careful and considerate. Tom, Greg, and Chris were all very good and timely. Greg was the lead mover and was so considerate with the time it took since they charged by the hour. We ended up tipping them extra because they were so considerate. The owner, Paul Gentil was also great.

The movers were quick and they knew what they were doing. At one point we got held up by torrential rain outside, but as soon as was feasible moving into trucks resumed. Estimate was pretty close to final cost.
