Auto Body Work
First of all it took 4 months to complete only $3000 worth of repairs. My vehicle was in their shop from November to February. Yes 4 months! When I first picked up the vehicle, I immediately noticed that the hood and side were not repainted at all. Also my tailgate did not open properly. While I drove the vehicle I got warning lights and a buzzer that the tailgate was open. My alarm would also go off in the middle of the night from the tailgate. This was because it was still completely out of alignment from the accident. Once I got the tailgate open, I found an open water bottle, empty beer can, piece of wood and a ton of dust. This shop used my vehicle as a garbage can. They then tried to bang, with a large hammer the rear end into alignment. That didn't work so I had to leave the vehicle for more repairs. I pickup the vehicle a second time. This time they repainted the hood and side. Still the tailgate was not working properly. They told me it was normal wear and tear and that the insurance company would not pay for a hinge. Great, so I took the vehicle home and washed it a couple of days later. I then noticed a tape like pattern in the paint on all areas they painted. I also called the insurance company and they said the hinge was not a problem for them to pay for. So I took the vehicle back a third time to the shop. They said that when it was painted, the plastic sheeting touched the paint and caused patterns around the whole vehicle. There were also drip marks hanging off of the mirror. They eventually replaced the hinge and fixed the tailgate. They also fixed the paint. Also my trailer light connector was missing and all my wires were hanging down by my muffler. They had to fix that the second time also. They clearly do not know what they are doing AND they don't care. Their attitudes were horrible and four months for a repair is ridiculous.
