"We are writing in response to a complaint listed by one of your members. We had a service appointment with the member. At the time of service it was determined what the problem was and a part had to be ordered. Our supplier did not have the part in stock and it is not uncommon for some pieces to take 7-10 business days to ship. We charged the customer a service charge for the trip and diagnosis – there was no additional down payment taken for ordering this part. She was never charged a deposit for any part. The member was not happy it was taking so long and called someone else who had the part in stock. She then called and cancelled with us after a week had passed. As a courtesy, we lowered the service call and sent her the difference in a check. We have been in business over twenty years and do realize we cannot please everyone. We do however always try to rectify a situation if a customer is unhappy."
