Fencing Service
The old fence was removed and my backyard was open for approximately 5 months. The fence was installed to keep a disabled child from eloping. I have to make several calls to get them to come back and finish. Promises were made and never kept. Finally a crew of unskilled, temporary laborers came and finished the job. The put posts in and hung the fence the following day, not allowing the concrete to fully cure. Since the installation the fence has fallen in several locations and the gate has been repaired several times as it does not close. The fence buckles around the entire perimeter and looks terrible. I emailed, called and reported him to the BBB and his response was (last year) "I'll put you on the repair list." This must be a huge list, as he never came back. I hired someone else to repair the fence, and will never recommend this company for ANYTHING. Mr. Potoczny seems like a nice guy and tried to blame the neighbor for pushing snow against the fence. It NEVER happened. The had a snowblower and blew it the other way. How would he explain the fact that the other side of the fence is also collapsing ? Ill leave the Weather-Tite signs up so others can see what great work these guys do. Bottom line is that the quality and speed of the work is very poor and they refuse to stand by their work.

"We went to ur house 3 times correcting what was damaged re adjusted ur gates twice and reset the poles on ur neighbors side, the panels were ripped out of the 4x4's 12- 3.5 inch ceramic coated screws from tons and tons of snow he piled against it ( which i did drive by in mid winter and wittnessed this) ( his drive way is less than 2 feet from his fence in ny thats no room to put snow so he piles it up as high as he can because of lack of room) your post was totally inaccurate after the second winter of ur neighbor damaging ur fence which there is3 other sides but just that side didnt hold up gee i wonder why ??!!! and we did repair the fence and reset the poles how can u say we never showed up just tell the truth you dont have to lie 3 times we went there the fence was severally abused ur warrantee was up yes ill repair it and we would of charge a service call,but I never heard from you again !"

Buyer Beware!Took our money and never showed up. Never called to say they weren't showing up. When contacted, the owner, Bill Potoczny, would give another date then no call no show. When he broke his 3rd promise to show up, we told him we wanted our $4,000.00 back. He refuses to give us our money back! So far he has ignored requests from the BBB, The Consumer Protection Bureau and the NYS Attorney General's office. We have hired an attorney and are going to sue him. Buyer Beware!

"We were there ready to start and had talked to the member's wife the night before. The material was ordered in advance. We told his wife that we have to complete the fence where we were working, but then we would be at her house around noon. We showed up at 12:30 and were ordered to leave. The next day, over $3000 in fresh rough cut lumber was ruined; there is only a 2 week window before it starts to mold. All the materiel was ruined by mold since they refused to let us do their fence. We will and would have deducted the cost or delivered the materials to the homeowner, but they did not want the materials they paid for. So we will deduct the cost from the deposit and will return the balance. Their loss, as they refused to let us do the fence. You don't order $4000 in materials then refuse the work. Other contractors stay clear of these people. Their word is absolutely no good! We insulated his attic 2 years ago and he loved us."
