In January, I arrived at their place of business as they were

recommended by a mutual acquaintance. They

were honest and up front regarding the mark up in pricing I would incur as a

result of their project coordination to ensure

a well planned kitchen remodeling experience, at least that is what I surmised

from our initial conversation.On

January 23rd we signed the installation agreement and a deposit was given.

On February 10th my countertops, backsplash, sink and

electrical outlets were removed and my dishwasher and oven rendered inoperable. It would not be until February 24th that the

granite was installed and sink placed..Although

I do understand that inclement weather played a part in the delay of the

granite.

The day of countertop installation Peter informed me that

the backsplash tile that was supposed to be installed the very same week was on

back order from the manufacturer, of which the project manager stated she was unaware of this

back order. So patiently I waited.

Finally, on March 19th I was given a date which

Now April, backsplash installment, alleluia!e, it took 8 weeks, unacceptable as far

as we were concerned.

Our home was 40 years old and had never been updated. We were going to get new counters and were wondering what to do about the built-in oven that was not really working well.
We stopped off at Royal Kitchen to get an estimate for new counters. When we asked for references, they opened a drawer and said and quot; How many would you like?and quot; We took four and called them all. They all loved the work and invited us to come over to see their kitchen. After seeing two of them and talking to the customers, we decided we had an opportunity to get something done really right. So we went back to the store and asked for a design to do the whole kitchen.
Vinnie worked with us to design a new kitchen from scratch. My husband and I have a really tough time agreeing on design of anything, but Vinnie was incredibly patient in working with us throughout the project. He made what could have been an overwhelming task into a fun one. We never dreamt there could be so many details to worry about, from cabinets, floor and backsplash to door knobs, faucets, trim and those little extras like an instant hot water faucet to make it our own.
I went a little crazy requesting high-end appliances so it cost more than was necessary. The price he quoted was high, but he did not nickel and dime us to death. The price he quoted was the price we paid. It included some extra work unrelated to the kitchen remodel, but we took advantage of the high quality of the workmanship to fix some things that other contractors had done an inadequate job on in the past.
He estimated eight weeks. It took nine. Not bad at all. The workers took care to contain the dust and cleaned up after themselves every day. The quality of the work was outstanding. After it was completed, I decided I did not like the wood trim around the the tile near the penisula, so they came back and created a tile trim. No additional charge. After a couple of weeks I noticed one tile in the backsplash was out of alignment. They came back and redid the area. Again, no charge.
It is now five years later. Not only did everyone who entered admire the kitchen, but we had two potential buyers look at the house and two offers. Other than the kitchen, our house was pretty ordinary. We sold to the second buyer and have moved to the Las Vegas. I have a nice kitchen now, but not nearly as nices as the one Vinnie worked with us to create.
