Merry Maids of New City

They have been providing the service for about 6 months. We have complained several times of the below average service and even took pictures. The response from management was "we will fix it" but the next cleaning was even worse. We are looking for a new service.

They were fast, but they were not thorough. They cleaned around the mat on the kitchen floor, they didn't clean lampshades, headboard, kitchen cabinets, or refrigerator (which I specifically asked for). I had just had surgery, so I was a little out of it. I didn't notice everything that wasn't done until after I had paid them. It was as if the clock started as soon as they walked in the door. They were here for exactly 1 1/4 hrs, which isn't enough time to clean an entire home. When I made the first appointment, something came up, and I needed to reschedule. They were not willing to change the time, so I had to wait 3 weeks before they would come. I didn't bother to call and complain, because I didn't want to have to wait another 3 weeks for them to come out again.

They are very nice but the actual cleaning was lacking. They never cleaned my garbage pail or cabinets and really only cleaned what they had to within an hour and a quarter. I was not real pleased with their service and will not be using them again.

The owner/operator did a quick run through of the house and the team of two housekeepers showed up prepared to work for two and a half hours or more. They stayed for about three hours, but they didn't really work vigorously while they were here. They weren't particularly friendly and showed absolutely no interest in getting my house clean. One of them spoke on her cell phone more than once while she was cleaning. All in all, I was disappointed. The house is clean enough, but for the price, I expected a more thorough cleaning and motivated crew.

They were very running a few minutes late but called me and were very professional and courteous. The girls scrubbed my house from top to bottom. I checked everything before they left, and I was very satisfied. My house has never been so clean, and it smelled great. Life's too short, it's worth every penny!

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MERRY MAIDS CLEANING SERVICE. THEY TREAT ME VERY WELL AND I TRUST THEM VERY MUCH. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MERRY MAIDS. THEY ARE GREAT.

THEY WERE PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE RIGHT ON TIME. THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED CERTAIN THINGS. THEY DIDN'T PRESSURE ME. THEY GAVE ME THE PRICE, AND IT WAS ACCURATE.

I WAS FINE WITH THE FRANCHISE OWNER, BUT THE WORKERS DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH SO IT WAS A BIT CHALLENGING TRYING EXPLAIN WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. WE WORKED IT OUT BUT IT WAS HARD TO DEAL WITH.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD SERVICE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GOOD. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME WELL.

THEY DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB ON OUR CARPETS. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THEIR RESPONSIVENESS, BUT WE WISH THEY WOULD HAVE DONE A LITTLE BETTER JOB WITH THE ACTUAL CLEANING.

THEY ARE FAIRLY HAPPY. I DON'T HAVE TO DO IT. THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY DUST VERY WELL. THEY CLEAN MY BATHROOMS AND MY KITCHEN VERY WELL.

I WOULD RATE MY EXPERIENCE WITH MERRY MAIDS 4 STARS OUT OF 5. I HAVE TOTAL TRUST IN THE WORKERS THAT COME TO THE HOUSE BIWEEKLY. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AND HAVE RESPECT FOR YOUR HOME.

I ONLY REALLY USE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSISTENT. THEY COME TO OUR HOME EVERY THIRD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH. THEY CALL ME AND REMIND ME, AND I DON'T HAVE TO REMEMBER TO CALL THEM TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. THEY REALLY ONLY SURFACE CLEAN EVERYTHING. THEY'RE ONLY HERE FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS, WHICH IS NOT ENOUGH TIME, I THINK. THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE, BUT I USED TO HAVE SOMEONE THAT CAME FOR EIGHT HOURS AND SCRUBBED THE HOUSE COMPLETELY, BUT IT'S THE BEST THAT I CAN FIND RIGHT NOW THAT'S RELIABLE AND CONSISTENT.
