They were professional and did a neat job and it looked good initially. However, the product they used to seal the driveway did not last at all. The cracks opened up very soon after, and the coating was very thin and wore away quickly.

I have been trying to collect $1500 owed to me from the owner Ray Redmond. he has been avoiding me for months now. I got him on the phone by calling him from a friends cell phone. All I get are empty promises.
$1500 is a lot of $$ to me so I am very upset and have waste countless hours trying to get refunded.

there was any response was if we tried to get a hold of them. We indicated the need for having our driveway resealed at the Rockland County Home Show in February 2014. They took all the information and did not contact us until we started to call them repeatedly in April 2014. In May, they visited our driveway and sent us a quote listing work to be performed and a cost of $300.00. We signed the contract and returned it to them and heard for about one month. We tried to contact their office repeatedly with no response. Many messages were left and went unanswered. In June, we received a call saying that they were at our driveway to perform work and now it seemed the driveway needed more work than originally contracted for. They claim that they tried to get a hold of us however we never received a call. The only time that we were able to talk to them was if we found someone in the office after numerous attempts. We were a customer for many years, however we no longer are. We hired another contractor to do their work and would definitely NOT recommend Black Diamond anywhere, hire at your own risk.

Black Diamond Sealcoating Inc. was a pleasure to do business with. I called for an estimate and within the week Ray was out measuring my driveway looking for cracks and damages to the blacktop. Within the following week I received the estimate to repair and sealcoat my driveway. The price was a little higher than other estimates I received but Diamond Sealcoating has an excellent reputation. I agreed on the price and faxed back the proposal. They were able to schedule me on June 29, 2011 and on that date, showed up on time. They quietly started the job and finished in about 2 hours. They placed a yellow caution tape across the driveway so no one would drive on the fresh surface. This was very professional. The next day the owner Ray calls me and asks if I'm pleased. Again, very good communication. By the end of the phone call he applies an additional $25 coupon from my bill. What a guy! I am very happy with their work and will tell my friends to use them. Very professional.

Very well. Leave a message, an estimate is dropped off. OK the work and price and they schedule the job and then do it.

What really impressed me was the fact that not only were they the least expensive bid I had to do this job, but all the other companies would put a price down on a piece of paper and throw it in my mailbox, and these gentleman handed me a full type written estimate, with what kind of product they were going to use and what the price would be, etc. I was so impressed I gave them the work and was really glad I did. They did a perfect job. I highly recommend them.

THEY WERE FRIENDLY ABOUT THE STAFF. THEY WERE PROMPT WITH RETURNING THE INFORMATION THAT WE HAD WITH THEM. WE DIDNT DEAL WITH THEM MUCH. IT WAS VERY GOOD QUALITY WORK.

IT WAS GOOD. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO COME. THEY DID THE JOB THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO, AND WE HAD A PROBLEM SO THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED IT.
