Got here on time with two assistants, removed tree and stump and was finished in about 3 hrs. One of the largest trees in the area removed professionally.
I would recommend this service and if I needed any more trees removed, he will do the job.

Jason and his crew were very professional and friendly. Jason clearly is an expert in his field. He knew just how to cut the tree to keep it out of the swimming pool. His crew provided excellent assistance and good clean-up. I was very pleased with his service and would definitely hire him again and recommend him to my neighbors.

It went great ! Jason (owner of Jand B) is very good at what he does. He quoted the job in a day and work started in a bout 1 week. I used him first in 2011, his quote was anywhere from 20% to 50% less then any other quotes. He won the bid and he removed 4 smaller trees for $400. He and a worker showed up at 8am on the date scheduled, had all 4 down and processed with stumps ground in 4 HOURS! As an added bonus, my neighbor wanted the small oak tree for fire wood, Jason bucked (cut in to small pieces) the oak tree for him. He did this at no charge, mind you it's more work to buck wood then it is to simply shred a tree. He was quick, clean and safe.
Next year in 2012 I wanted to take down the remaining 2 BIG pine trees both where over 80 ft tall; one had a 3ft trunk and the other had a 4ft trunk. One had bad center rot, and the other had a big split. NOW here's the difference between Jason and the other guys, every other tree service that I called wanted to take these trees down in section. My reply to that was, why don't you just fall them in one piece, they are 80 ft tall and I have 150ft of yard, you're not going to hit anything and I don't care about the lawn. They all said it's better to take them down in sections, yea better for them, it takes longer. Not Jason, he agreed with me, It's way easier and cost less to fall a tree in one cut. He had both trees down in one hour. His crew of 4 guys had the trees cut, loaded and stumps ground in 7 hrs. All this work for $1700 I was so please I tipped his crew a $100. To put this in to perspective, one of the quotes I got from some Big tree service in Albany wanted $4600 for the same job.
Do yourself a favor, save some time and take it from me, call Jand B Tree service first. Every other company will be more money and they won't do as good a job as Jand B. I have and will continue to recommend them and I will use them in the future. You can not go wrong with these guys.
A little about me: I have been in the construct field for over 15 years so I know quality contractors when I see them.

Great as usual. This is the 4th time we have used them (we have alot of trees). One of the trees was starting to drop leaves very early, and the other was too close to the house for my comfort. This was not an easy tree removal job, and they were great. They are very responsive, wrote up a quote with several options for the removal (stump grinding, using heavy equipement to minimize lawn damage).

The job took 8 hours, and at the end of the day there was not a leaf on the ground - they do an excellent clean up as well. We did not care about the lawn damage - chose the lower priced option, and still there was minimal impact on our back yard.

I spent $300 on the job. They were very responsive. If I leave a call, they would call back immediately. They did the work when I was not there, I was totally confident that they were going to do it and they did an excellent clean up. I would totally recommend them to other members. They are absolutely the first. I have used them twice and would use them again in the future.
