+ -1 moreI contacted Maura because of the beautiful faux finishes I'd seen at a friend's house. I actually had to touch the wall to prove it was 'faux"!!! Maura came to my house and looked at the area I wanted the work done in. Maura did research to find out what types of foliage an Amazon Parrot would encounter in the wild & prepared her drawings based on the research and my tastes. I'm soooo glad I hired her! The price was WELL below what I thought it would be considering she's an accomplished artist, has a huge following, does most of her work without so much as a sketch and is in great demand!! I am going to hire Maura Erickson to decorate my whole house!! Giving Maura the mark of "A" on price and quality of her work is insulting, she's more like SUPER A or A to the 10th power!
Description of Work: I wanted a painting of a tropical tree in the area where I keep my parrot. Maura took the time to understand WHY I wanted the mural, WHAT I wanted to accomplish, WHERE I wanted it and WHEN I wanted it completed. Thankfully Maura pointed out that her materials would not cause harmful fumes (very important to birds!) and that the compounds in her paints are non-toxic - VERY important!
