Ed was prompt in calling me to arrange for an estimate.  He put me on the schedule a few weeks out - business is good!  Called on the day of the installation to let me know his crew was coming over.  The crew of four were in and out in hour and a half.  New windows look great - better than the rest of the basement, so time for more upgrades.

When he came to do the estimate, he informed me he was scheduled out about a month which was fine. To perform the install, he would need to knock out some of the mortar around the windows first. This cost was included in the above estimate. I called him a week before the install date to confirm with no issues. On the day of the install, he arrived after 9am and was finished - cleaned up and gone - by noon.  The windows looked great. I would recommend him to others.

Arrived on time. Did a great job and cleaned up after the job was completed. We are very pleased with the results. THe whole basement is MUCH brighter and much warmer now. Looking forward to a winter without leaks, critters, and cold drafts. Very happy with the total experience.

The basement windows in this house we bought are quite small creating a dungeon effect in both the finished and unfinished areas.  Worse, some were cracked and the prior owner had applied duct tape and pieces of carpet to seal them all, both inside and outside!  Glass block wasn't my first choice, but the other options were twice as expensive!  Ed from CNY arrived exactly when scheduled to provide a quote -- explained the styles of glass blocks available, plus vents and dryer exhaust accommodation.  When we later talked about the date to do the work, he was considerate of my work schedule and called me when his crew were wrapping up a prior job so I had time to get home, secure my cats, and meet them.  Three young men were the work crew...obviously experienced.  They were considerate and efficient and unobtrusive.  I am pleased with the brand new look and have confidence that they are solid and secure through the seasons to come.

They were punctual and neat. Very polite, I will tell everyone to use them so happy with all the work they did. Five windows and three hours they were done. Thanks Ed Nano you have a great crew.

Install went very well, old window well made of wood and was rotten, this was hidden under cement, removed and replaced by CNY Glass Block will no additional cost for unforeseen complication.

One phone call to them and a date was set within two weeks. Told us it would be between two days. They called and came on one of those days they said they would. Owner called after work was done to see if we were satisfied. Good company.

 It was easy and quick to schedule a free estimate.  The owner was thorough in his description of what was to be done, including adding a support cinder block between two adjacent windows.  The cost of vents was very reasonable so we had them installed in all windows.  The work was scheduled to fit into our schedule.  The crew arrived on time, they were polite and professional and the work was done in about 2 hours.  The work was good, the cleanup was good.  The owner came out to check on the work of his employees as soon as they were nearing completion. The glass block windows look good inside and out. CNY Glass Block is a local company, using USA made glass block. The entire process could not have been less stress-free.

The man that came to give me an estimate was very informative. The guys showed up just when they said they would.  They were  friendly and professional and seemed to enjoy their work. It was 101 degrees that day and it didn't seem to phase them at all. They cleaned up everything and did a beautiful job.  I was very impressed with this company from beginning to end. I love the windows that he had recomended!

They have been here twice and are coming back for a third time. It's an excellent company, a good product and they are very responsive. It's less than $200 per window installed, I had 5 altogether. It's owned by Ed and he's an experienced mason, specializes in this now and does an excellent job. I'm looking to hire them back pretty quickly.

They cleaned it all up and put in the glass block windows with a window that opens. They re-cemented everything and it looks absolutely beautiful. It saved me tons of money downstairs from being cold. Icicles kept falling off my house and breaking the basement windows and I don't have that problem anymore. I can open up the windows with ease and air it out. They took a little bit longer to come because I think it was summertime. They were prompt with their appointment. They were in and out of here, cleaned everything up.

Amazing. In approximately half a day, Ed Nano's crew removed and cleaned the existing windows and replaced them all with beautiful glass block windows. In and out in less than a day. The job was well done, and the results are fantastic.

These windows provide a lot of natural light to our once dark basement but at the same time provides privacy and additional security to our home. We were so pleased that another family member just had glass block windows installed by CNY Glass block two weeks ago and a third family member is scheduled to get them this month. It was a pleasure to deal with this company.

When Ed came to give me an estimate, he was very knowledgable and explained in detail various options and methods for making the replacements. He was very easy to work with -- adjusting the installation date to accommodate other work we were having done, and they came exactly as scheduled. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally by his crew and he stopped by several times during the day to check on the progress. They repaired damaged concrete block and finished all the windows with mortar very neatly. I have already recommended this company to several people. The cost may not be the absolute cheapest, but I prefer to work with owner-occupied local companies, and, because the house is so old and the window sizes were not standard, the estimates I got were all very close. I do feel CNY Glass Block went the extra mile to make sure that the windows really enhanced the appearance of the house. They took away every scrap of debris -- you would never know they had been there except that we now have beautiful windows and way more light in our dark basement.

They were very good. They explained everything, they took care of everything and they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

We are very pleased with the finished window. The window is beautiful and provides much more light than the previous window had and it does not require a window covering (shade or blind) as it provides total privacy. There was a little confusion about which day the window would be installed, but on the day of installation, it all went very smoothly. The installers worked well with my contractor. It looks great inside and out.
