Did a good job.

Mike arrived promptly and got to work taking the washing machine apart. After pulling a ton of dog hair (I own a boarding kennel and we do ALOT of hairy dog laundry!) out of the inside of the machine, he put in the replacement part in and bam, the washing machine was up and running again. Lucky for me he carries common replacement parts with him.
Another appliance service person said just to buy a new machine ... for several hundred dollars more than what I paid for repair.
Would call Mike again for appliance repair.

Mike stayed in touch to let me know when he'd be arriving. Very affable guy. Quickly diagnosed that my dishwasher was DOA and informed me that it was a low-end model that contractors can buy for a pittance. Explained to me why it was not very good at cleaning dishes (calling it a and quot;dish wetterand quot; was pretty funny). He offered me advice on good models to replace my dead unit with, showed me some tricks to get the most out of my new washer (run hot water in your sink prior to starting the dishwasher), gave me advice on detergents (too much soap is not better). He checked the wiring and plumbing to make sure that when I did get a new dishwasher everything was all set and there would be no surprises.
Also, he let me know that he didn't think much of my brand new refrigerator - at no extra charge!

Michael called to tell me he was delayed in traffic. He arrived shortly thereafter and immediately began to work. He fixed the problem in less than 15 minutes. He did a neat, clean job. I recommend Michael.

In addition to fixing the immediate problem, Mike leveled the machine which had slipped out of alignment since the original installation 4 years ago. The job required two visits, one for the evaluation and one for the actual repairs after the parts arrived.
He called back about an hour after my initial call and set up the first visit for the following day. He called back after two days to say the parts would be available in two days and he scheduled the second visit. He came on time with the parts and completed the work in about 9o minutes.
The machine works fine now, and the dishes are dryer now that the machine has been leveled (as he thought they would).
I would use Mike again. I have his number on my repair person list.

Mike very quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with our window air conditioner AND gave me critical information to help get another unit I had thought was broken working again. AND, as part of his service, he also gave me several tips to keep the unit operating at top efficiency as well as good additional information on new AC standalone options for us since we are not set up well for installing central air.
In addition to all that, he also checked out our kitchen and evaluated the operation of our dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator along with some tips on dishwasher soap and how to check for overusage, information on keeping the refrigerator working for a little more time until it needs to be replaced and a great tip on saving money with ice/water filtration when we finally need to purchase a new fridge--namely that you can install an in-line water filter ahead of the feed into the refrigerator and replace that filter much more cost effectively than the proprietary filters that are the replacements required from the refrigerator manufacturer.
In summary, Mike stayed a little over an hour, fixed what we called him for originally, gave me information to fix another air conditioner that we thought was broken, gave us good advice on our dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator all for his basic one hour rate. So we got much more than our money's worth as far as I'm concerned.
I should add that he was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and prompt. We also discovered that he works on small engines as well as appliances, so stay tuned for a review of his work on our rototiller as soon as we save a few dollars toward getting our Troy-bilt horse fixed up.

I got Mike's information from Angie's List and contacted him based on his reviews. He returned my call promptly. He came and quickly diagnosed my problem and promised to call later with suggestions. I've had to hunt down service providers in the past. Not Mike. He called as he said he would and encouraged me to think over his suggestions before deciding. Most of what I spent was the cost to repair the items that needed replacing. He was very professional throughout and I would definitely recommend him and use his services again.

My refrigerator had stopped cooling, freezer was ok. This is the first time I ever called Mike. I had seen his name in the yellow pages and then here on Angie's List. He lives about an hour away. I called him on Monday afternoon and he was at my house the next day at 8AM. He diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck, changed it and was finished by 9AM. He was neat, clean, professional and prompt. I would defintely call him again and highly recommend him.

His diagnosis of the problem was very thorough yet quick. He pinned down the "noise" to a clutch that was not working for certain cycles and summised that this would in turn, eventually affect the other cycles and wear out the transmission and ultimately the computer. He was helpful on picking a new washer and we took his advice.

He went back to his office and researched our model and provided me with valuable feedback on how to proceed and what to expect from the dishwasher in the future

Had problems with our 10-year old dishawasher - Mike came, diagnosed it quickly and only required a minimal deposit to order the part. Part came in as promised and he came back quickly upon receipt of part. Work was exscellent, he is honest and fair.

Mike was prompt, courteous and professional. He initially came and assessed the work that needed to be done. He charged for that call and returned to do the work after obtaining the motor for the dryer drum. I understand the need to charge for an initial service call, in case the client doesn't follow through with the required work. I do feel though, he could provide a discount on the subsequent service call as long as the required work was obtained. Overall, I'd recommend Mike.

Called the morning of the visit and came exactly when he promised. Was honest and considerate
