We do not recommend this company to others. The salesman told me the cost would be $3/square foot installed. When he came to measure for the flooring, he quoted me a pre-tax cost of $1898.75. I did not think to ask the total square footage associated with this price. Therefore I signed a contract for $1,000 down and the balance to be paid when the work was done. This was a total after tax of $2,057.77. When the workers came to install the tile, my husband said maybe we don’t install the tile in the bathroom. Our agreement said our tile is non-returnable, which we were ok with. We called the salesman to inform him of this and he then said there would be an adjustment in my favor because they wouldn’t be completing the bathroom. The day they came to do the tile, they completed the kitchen and then charged us the full $2,057.77. When we called the salesman we were given a run around about why the adjustment was not applied, so we said fine, just go ahead and do the bathroom as well. The salesman then said it would cost an additional $200 to complete the work. When we did our measurement of the total square footage of the kitchen and bathroom, we came to 247 square foot. The total price for 247 square foot at $3/square foot would only be roughly $741. This means they essentially over quoted us $1,157.75. We were sure this company would contest our measurements, so we asked the local building inspector to measure as well. He came up with the same measurements we had of 247 square feet. Therefore we are currently out the $1,157.75 at this time.
