Successful fix, but labor / service call combined cost for work averaged over $200 per hour (this was a daytime call), and bill when received was not fully itemized. I was left with a very bad feeling after this one and it is very likely I will not be using them again.

Glen, the President, came by to look at our needs. They provided an emailed estimate. Jay then took over and talked me through the specifics of the estimate and answered all of my questions. They were able to schedule the job with a short turnaround and completed the install in one day. They were professional, courteous and my house is cool now! I would use them again.Their price was very competitive and the service was good.

We were thrilled to learn that it just needed servicing and could also benefit from a new thermostat. Blend Air, as always, did a thorough and professional job and we do not hesitate to recommend them. The workmen are all courteous, considerate, clean and know their stuff. They are an excellent company.

We woke up in the house we have owned exactly 90 days to find water pouring out the front of the hot water heater. We were able to turn the water off. Had to wait until the next day for them to come. They called and came by earlier than expected. They rang the bell, and when I opened the door, they proceeded to march right past me without a word and go into my basement. I sent my fiancee down. They said we needed a new hot water heater (which we expected because of rust on the bottom of the unit). They left and came back 2 hours later with a new one and had it intalled within 30 minutes. They marched all over my brand new carpet downstairs with their muddy boots and only spoke a few words with myself or my fiancee (they were not of spanish descent). Less than good customer service

We came home from vacation to find that our furnace was not working. It's a relatively new steam system but we knew there were some problems with the automatic water feeder. The furnace is about 10 years old and we had never had it serviced. The area where the float triggers the automatic water feeder had become clogged and the water feeder was not working properly. He suggested we have that water float area serviced and also have the entire furnace serviced. We were charged $98 for the service call, $135 for the "Tune-Up" and another $282 to service the water float area. The next day, we found the furnace was not working again. He came back out a day later and discovered that the Blow Down Valve was leaking and needed to be replaced. The valve is part of the area he was working on the day before and it seemed very odd to me that it had never leaked before he visited but then started leaking the next day. Okay, obviously I'm not a plumber and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one... On the receipt under "Parts", he charged us $245 for a new McDonnell Miller 14-B Blow Down Valve and under "Labor" he wrote "N/C Recent Visit" The problem there is that after a quick search on the internet, I found the same valve for $57 and other places for $97. I DID find it on other site for $250 and maybe there's a difference of which I'm not aware but all three examples that I found had the exact same model number. At that point it raised my suspicions that we were getting taken. BUT the kicker of all of this was after everything he had done and the $824 we'd spent, it STILL wasn't working. It was then that he told us we needed a new thermostat and that would be another $120.00. I said no and told him I'd do it myself. It was then that I took the thermostat off the wall and discovered that the two AA batteries in the thermostat had gone bad. I pulled them out, cleaned up the inside and the thermostat has been working just fine ever since. He was going to charge us $120 to replace a perfectly fine thermostat because the batteries had gone bad. That is something he definitely should have checked first and foremost. How could he NOT have checked that first? I can only conclude that he was looking to rip us off.

If I have a problem, they are quick to send someone out to fix it. They have no problem coming back if I am still having the same problems. They are responsive and efficient.

Both times were under emergency conditions. First time the pilot light went out in winter, and they were the only ones that would come out quickly to try and fix it. Second time, the air conditioning unit went out in the summer. They were very impressive honesty. They didn't jack-up the bill on me, and were very helpful and honest for me not knowing anything about these things. There were so honest, and only charged me $90/hour (their normal rate), but did not charge for materials.

They were efficient and I was able to get a appointment quickly. They were able to come the following day after my call and what they did for my air conditioner worked.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. WE GAVE THEM A'S ALL THE WAY DOWN. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. FOR A WHOLE FURNACE, IT WAS FINE PRICE WISE. I HAD COMPARED PRICES, AND IT WAS THE CHEAPEST.
