Terrapin Tree Care

Excellent job, as always, used them before. A bit more expensive than others, but well worth it. They are very careful not to damage anything around the tree, including the lawn and other shrubs, and take away all refuse and leave the area clean.

Great work all round

We've used Terrapin Tree several times for tree removal, tree trimming and tree planting. I originally called them to assess the trees on our new property and Lauren took the time to thoroughly explain everything and gave a thoughtful recommendation based not just what we wanted but was best for the trees. The entire team was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Lauren is wonderful! When she came to our home to give an estimate she spent almost 45 minutes walking through our property giving expert advice on landscaping and tree work. The day of the work she spent many hours clearing away dead branches and gently trimming and reshaping our two Japanese Maple Bushes that had been neglected for years. Today, they are gorgeous and ready for the winter then new growth in the spring. She is truly amazing, we will definitely have her back to do additional work for us.

Lauren and her crew were fantastic. Lauren came out to assess our property. She took great care to explain the condition of each tree and her recommendations, and provided an estimate in a timely manner. The price was very fair. She showed up at the start of work and each day thereafter while the crew (her brother and two other men) was working and kept me informed of the progress. The crew also cut one of the trunks into several pieces to make a little fairy ring for the kids! At the end of the job Lauren followed up to make sure I was satisfied. The entire crew was friendly, respectful of the property and did a thorough job cleaning up and leaving everything as they found it. I am thrilled with the work that was done and will definitely be using Terrapin Tree in the future.

Terrapin Tree Care came to our club quickly to assess the situation.  Took care of the dead tree and removed the debris as soon as our local power company turned off the power when it was safe for Terrapin to work.  Terrapin has also this spring trimmed many of our trees before the club opened for the season. Removed many dead branches and opened the area around the kiddie pool letting in additional sunlight and leaves falling into the kiddie pool area.  

Highly recommend Terrapin Tree Care.  Both their service and fairness of the price of their service are A plus plus plus.

Great. The work went as planned, time-wise, and when the work was completed the yard was clean. We elected to keep the chips and they were deposited in two places making further distribution easier. The yard was left in better much condition than I expected in view of the amount of work that was done.

David Coats and the crew arrived exactly when they said they would and immediately set about positioning their equipment, securing the work area with safety cones, and assessing the tree. They worked all day in a harmonious and conscientious  manner, and at the end , the tree was reduced to a pile of firewood-length sections. I did not want the chips that were in their truck so they were removed. They even arranged with a local person to haul away everything I didn't want. They raked the whole area of shavings, which were relatively few as they collect the bulk of them on tarps as they cut the sections, and left little evidence of the tree aside from the stump which was trimmed down to ground level. Not a single branch contacted my house, virtually every single chip from the chipper went into the truck,  and there was not one dent in the lawn. Very impressive.
The experience was a pleasure and it is clear to me that the whole Terrapin team  is aware of and concerned for the welfare of the environment they work in as well as the safety and protection of people and property. Lauren Coats , owner and manager of all aspects of the business, is wonderful to deal with . Her professionalism and concern for the client is above the norm, in my experience. I highly recommend these folks and they will certainly be doing any future tree work on my property.
