My car has low mileage but is nevertheless 6 years old. When my battery died (the morning of a job interview which I had to cancel) I had to call AAA the next day at 7:00 AM. I the meantime, I contacted this place literally down the hill from me in Fleetwood to make sure they could take me. They said no problem and I got there around 8:00.
I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they would call me in an hour when it would be ready. It was about the only good thing to come of that fiasco. I don't know why I never thought to take my car there before. Probably because it is next to an Audi Dealer and I thought it was their service department.
So far so good.
How I wish we would have known about them twenty years ago! This is the place to take your car and get the straight story.

Very well. They diagnosed the problem, explained it clearly, gave me an accurate cost and time estimate, fixed the problem, and then called a week later to make sure the car was still working well. The location at the Fleetwood Station is convenient when trying to get around without a car for a few days. I just moved into the area and intend to use Total Car Care as my mechanic.

I had gone to my dealership for the repair of my cars AC. They found that I didn?t have any
freon in the system, so they put some in along with a dye. They told me if the
charge of freon works so be it but if I notice the car getting warm I?m to come
back & they will be able to see where the leak is & fix it. I was charged $121.00 for the visit.
I hadn?t used the car for a week & when I did I found that the AC was blowing warm air same as before.
I brought the car back to the dealer and they gave me a price for the repair. I asked
the manager if he was going to apply any of the money that I paid a week ago, because they did not
fix the problem. He said ?no he couldn?t?, so I refused the service and left.
I found Total Car Care on Angie?s list. They gave me an estimate for the repair and scheduled the repair for the next day.
They were prompt, courteous and they matched the dealer?s price and in addition gave me a 10% discount.
They warranty their work & the part for 12 months.
My AC works great.
PS?Most people think that a dealer?s price is higher than most repair shops,
well, when it came to this repair there wasn?t any replacement parts therefore,
the part had to be ordered from manufacture. I know this because I got another
estimate before I went to Total Car Care and they said the same thing and
wanted an additional $75.00 more than the dealer and they didnt offer a discount.
I did very well with Total Car Care and I would use them again.

"Dear [member name removed] I am so sorry you did not have a good experience. I agree that the car was returned to you with the check engine light on. I spoke to you about that before you picked up the car. The insurance estimator missed that and it was never part of the original repairs. Neither you nor the insurance company ever paid for any work pertaining to your complaint. I also offered you a free rental car since you did not have rental coverage on your insurance. As for the difference in the time it took, we still completed the car in the time allowed by the insurance. However you did leave out the fact that you liked the rest of the job. I also informed you that you had a brake rotor issue that was covered under the new car warranty and I believe that it was taken care of at no charge to you. I believe I made every effort to take care of your needs and that I never refused to help you. You did not make me aware of any of your dissatisfactions. I only learned about them in your review. I am sure I would have taken care of any of the issues if you made them known to me. I apologize for any inconveniences.
