We moved to a building which had limited hours for move-in. Jacob Morris came to our house, walked through all the rooms with me and recommended that we get packed up one day, have our belongings stored at their facility overnight (at no additional charge) and then have everything delivered the next day. Jacob explained all the charges for the truck and 3-man crew we would need. Everything went well, the crew was very experienced and very professional, and made good suggestions about where to put things. They were on time both days. Final bill was very close to the estimate.

Jacob wasn't kidding when he said he would send me the best guys for my move! Glen, Clifton and Sam arrived promptly and after an initial discussion, they quickly started to load the truck for my big move! At one point, I started getting overwhelmed and Glen reassured me that there was no need to feel anxious. From my initial call to Jacob to unloading at my new home, everything was handled with such professionalism! I loved my moving team! I highly recommend Jacob and his company if you are looking for a top-notch company and team of professionals to move your possessions. Thank you Jacob, Glen, Clifton and Sam! It went great! Jacob Movers took care of every thing. They were very attentive and treated our items with great care.

I hired Morris moving after researching prices and services to move my one bedroom apartment. Morris proved to be the best value. They were professional and pleasant to deal with from beginning to end. I recommend them whole heartedly without hesitation or reservation. I know I have found my moving company from here out. The thing I am still amazed at is how fast they were able to move my furniture. As a bruise to my ego I must admit that it took myself and 2 future brother in laws and about 1.5 hours to move a big couch into my old apartment. I made the mistake of blinking when I hired Morris moving because when I did, 2 guys with what appeared to be minimal effort had the couch wrapped for moving, out of the apartment and already on the truck! They work magic and are well worth every penny spent!

The move went well and I was very pleased with the service. Everything was delivered intact in perfect condition. This was crucial given the fragile nature of the artwork. Furthermore, the crew arrived on time, worked diligently and displayed a friendly, courteous manner. They also showed exemplary patience, as I was very particular about where and how the items were to be placed in the storage unit. The owner, Jacob Morris, was a pleasure to deal with. His family business dates back to the 19th century and he clearly takes pride in the service he provides.  I would definitely use this company again and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a worry free move.

Called Jacob up for info about the move and he came over to give me a free estimate. I later schedule the move and he sent a three man team. The team came at the time that was supposed to and did a wonderful job they were prompt and wrapped everything. I couldn't be more happy. I am so happy I went with professionals. I recommend Morris moving company. Not to mention they did this on Christmas Eve.

Excellent.  Professional, courteous and reliable.  Kind, professional and responsive from the moment they picked up the phone at headquarters.  Rep from the company, third generation family member, was able to ascertain exactly what I needed from them based on my description of the contents of the storage unit versus other firms that hemmed and hawed and kept saying they needed a list of everything being moved, they would call me back, and/or had first line phone reps that seemed like interns versus professional, experienced movers, who knew how to analyze contents and price a job accordingly.  This was a smallish sized move and Morris moving rep offered a very fair price. 

Communication on the days leading up to the move and the day of the move were excellent.  The actual moving staff was courteous, organized, and careful with my possessions.  They were patient when I needed to organize items at the destination site, and were happy to help in any way they could.  They were affable, understood my concerns about fragile items and took great care to make sure everything arrived intact and undamaged.

Unbeknownst to me, Morris Moving had also moved my  mother in law 8 years ago and her large move went as smoothly as my small move.

I would use them again and highly recommend anyone looking for professional, honest, reliable movers to use them.

Morris Moving is family owned and has moved our family members at least 4 times. Jacob Morris has been able to provide movers for us at the last minute and jumped through hoops to make things work for us.
We were not entirely packed when the movers arrived, which was our fault. Things got packed in a hurry by a couple of the movers, without really thinking about what they were putting in the box (like sugar and a bottle of cleaner that wasn't tightly closed...which ended up in a kind of a mess). So I recommend that your are completely packed, if you are the one packing. 

It went really well! Larry was on top of everything since the day we discussed the move. He presented his quote, and kept his words faithfully (even though my apartment turned out to have more stuff than some single family house). I was very happy that Larry gave us a low flat rate for the move. The folks came on the moving day were very professional, hard-working. They wrapped everything, arrived on time, and worked till late into the evening. It was great experience and we would not hesitate to hire Morris Moving for our future needs.

The packers came the day before and packed our kitchen as well as our large furniture items. The owner came with them and was in constant contact with us. The men were incredibly professional and kind. Our move went smoothly and we couldn't have asked for better service.

The moving crew was fantastic, very professional and worked well together as a team. They had worked hard but had fun with each other. The weather was extremely hot, over 90 both days with very high humidity. The owner Jacob is very nice and knowledgable, he takes great pride in his family run business and was willing to work with me on the move dates and services so that we could agree on a resonable fee for services.  I would recommend Morris moving without hesitation.

First contact via phone was excellent. Jacob Morris, the President of the company, offered to come to our house at our convenience (as it turned out inconvenient for him). Had a very good meeting with him, gave us the feeling he actually cared about our stuff. After a bit of discussion we came to a price we all could live with and set a date. He offered several services at no extra charge (overnight storage, next day delivery), all of which helped us immensely. Very supportive, since we moved from an apartment we'd occupied for 38 years.
At the appointed time a 4 man crew arrived, on the dot, headed by Dwight. They were very polite, extremely careful with all our things, and managed to do the entire load out from our NYC 1 BR in 3 hours flat. Everything and I mean everything was wrapped like a baby, the beds were placed in sealed plastic fitted bags (avoids bedbugs) - we could not have been more astonished after hearing the usual movers horror stories. We then drove upstate to our new home.
The following morning they arrived again right on time. Not all the same crew (3 men now) but the same head man, who greeted us like old friends. They came in, checked out the new place and set to work. No breaks, refused all our offers of drinks, coffee, etc. and moved everything, all the furniture plus some 60-70 packed boxes, right into the new places again in about 3 hours. They were unbelievable. Everything arrived in perfect order and condition, the crew was nice, polite, courteous and friendly and went out of their way to please us. We were thrilled to be able to tip them!
I immediately called the 'boss' to tell him how pleased we were and he seemed just as pleased to have our feedback.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a mover. We thought they were great and exceeded our expectations.
