FINAL PHASE CONTRACTING

Gary McTiernan was amazing. He came to give us an estimate. He arrived on time and was very professional. He did not do a hard sell. We told him what we needed to have done. He was very honest with us about what he could get done in time for the party. He told us he could get one coat on the yard side of the fence in advance of the party- which would look fine for the party he told us. After the party, he could do the second coat on the interior of the fence and do both coats on the "neighbor sides" of the fence. Gary communicated very well. He told us when to expect him and he was always on time. He and his partner worked quickly, and cleanly. They got the interior of the fence done one full day in advance of the party so that it was dry for the party. We liked him because he did what he said he was going to do- when he said he was going to. He didn't lie and say he could get the whole job done before the party. He came up with the plan to meet our needs for the party without sacrificing quality. Six months after the job was completed the solid stain began to peel in a one foot section of the fence. This was due to sap in the wood and not his job. I called Gary and asked him what we could do. He showed up the next day - sanded the area and restained it. He came back the next day to do a second coat. He did this all without charge. We were very impressed with that "standing by his workmanship" He is a full service contractor and we are going to use him when we refinish our basement later this year. We recommended him highly.
