Terrific we had major flood damage they came the following day and replaced roof system I would highly recommend them to everyone, the did a fantastic job and cleaned everything up. Wonderful company.

WENT VERY WELL...BRIAN AND HIS WORKERS SHOWED UP VERY EARLY AS PROMISED...ANY CALL TO BRIAN WAS ANSWERED PROMPLY...HE IS VERY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED...I HAD COMPLETE FAITH THAT HE WOULD DO THE JOB RIGHT... WANTED TO USE A DUMPSTER TO CHUTE THE DEBRIE DOWN , BUT DUMPSTER WOULD NOT FIT IN DRIVEWAY..SO TOSSED ALL MATERIAL ONTO DRIVEWAY AS THEY WORKED..BY END OF THE DAY...THE DRIVEWAY WAS AS CLEAN AS IT WAS BEFORE THEY GOT THERE,..THEY WORKED NON STOP FROM EARLY MORNING TO EARLY EVENING AND GOT THE MAIN ROOF FINISHED...TOLD THEY WOULD COME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO DO SLATE AND SMALL ROOF ..AGAIN, BRIAN AND HIS WORKERS WERE THERE VERY EARLY AND DID THE REST OF THE WORK AS PROMISED.. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT..IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A COMPANY THAT YOU CAN COMMUNICATE WITH AS WELL AS WORK WITH YOU TO GET THE JOB DONE THAT YOU WANT, THEN BRIAN AND SAFE CHOICE ROOFING IS THE ONE...

I am very pleased. A few days after they replaced my roof, there was a leak from the chimney after a terrible rain storm. When I called him to tell him about the leak, he came out immediately and repaired it. His original estimate was a little high, but I'm glad I went with him. He was very pleasant and did the work in one day. When he came back and noticed the stain on the ceiling, he told me to hire a painter and send him the bill. He found a loose shingle and repaired it. I would highly recommend him.

Brian Buckhout started the job well but didn’t finish it well enough. He brought his crew to my house early in the morning, as promised. They started removing the old roof and he left. There was one communication between Brian and myself during the day. When he returned after 4PM I found out that he didn’t instruct his workers (he calls them mechanics) how to deal with a critical part of the roof that had given me a lot of trouble since the last roof was laid. I asked him to redo that part and he made his guys to open the siding and pieces of already installed roofing and add some more membrane and flashing, myself standing next to them and pointing out obvious flaws in the installation. After a lot of cutting and patching they reinstalled the siding but left a hole there that I had to patch myself later with aluminum. I’m still concerned that later in the wintertime when snow accumulates on the roof this corner will fail and spring a leak. For whatever reasons the work continued into the evening, they were finishing up in the dark. I inspected the new roof a day or two later and observed some spots that in my opinion had not been done right which I expressed to Brian. His response was that the roofing was done perfectly right and I’d never have any issues with it but if I insisted he could come and try to make it look better. He never showed up. My concern wasn’t with the look (that part of the roof is not visible from the ground) but rather with the way the material was installed. I checked out the manufacturer's installation instructions and my opinion is that the roofers did not follow them thoroughly. The truth of course is that only after several years it may be possible to verify the contractor’s claim regarding the roof’s longevity. No contractor will come to redo the roof if it starts leaking 10 years after the installation whereas the roof of this type is supposed to last 15 to 20 years. I also found out later that they left a lot of debris in the gutters that overflowed the first time it rained. The bottom line is Brian doesn’t listen carefully enough to concerns expressed by customers and doesn’t supervise his employees well enough to ensure high quality of work. Another possibility is that he just is not experienced enough to deal with non standard situations.

I was very satisfied with the work. He was a real professional. They did everything that they said they were going to do. They said that they would be here at 7 am and they were here at 7 am on the dot. There were 7 guys and it took them 12 hours. The owner’s name is Bryan Buckhout. They cleaned up nicely. They took care of anything that they moved. They corrected the things that were out of place. Overall, the guy seemed to be very nice. He didn’t nickel and dime me. He did everything that he said he was going to do. I had 3 estimates and he was in the middle. I would use him again in the future if need be.

my roof had been leaking, and I recieved an estimate from Brian. He suggested I repair the entire roof due to pin holes all over the roof as well as mold growing etc. The cost of $5900 was given to me by phone and I asked Brian to come to my home on Saturday to review. He replied within the next day IMMEDIATELY form the email on ANGIE's LIST. He came to my home , and at that time went into my attic at my request and informed me that my AC unit was leaking as well. The lower catch unit was filled with water and failed to shut off due to the wires from the AC unit lying directly on the top of the clip that would allow the unit to shut off when it overflowed. Unfortunately this was the root of the major cause of water in my closet in living room which had ruined all of my coats. At this time, I may have decided to NOT Replace the entire roof but I felt Brian saved me more potential damage at that time, and why avoid a job and put off doing just a repair when after 27 years of wear and tear a new roof would be the wiser choice.I got other estimates which came in $500 lower but Brians' personality, expertise , written estimate and guarantee along with this being his sole profession lead me to continue the business. With all the rain the previoius week, he went on my roof and and covered it in full until Monday when he would return and do the job completely. HIs workers were kind, neat and focused on the task at hand. They started at 7:15 am and complete by 2pm. A job well done!! I cant wait for it to rain buckets. I look forward to a warmer, safer winter with no worry at all , especially for the guarantee of 50 years Brians company gave on my shingles, they will outlast me!!Thank you again for your professionalism and quality work by you and your staff.

Very satisfying experience. Interviewed several roofers, but this company beat them hands down. The job was handled professionally from start to finish. The estimate was in line with others received (maybe a little better), the explanation of work needed and choices we had was through. The job was started and completed on time with an impressive clean up. Received a GAF warranty on the roof stating that the installation met certain standards (was not expecting that). Would absolutely recommend.
