Do not hire this guy! He never put down a drop cloth and got paint and stain all over the cement sidewalk and porch. He didn't use painters tape either. He showed up late to work and spent to much time sitting on the front porch. He has not given us any receipts for the paint, stain and other purchases. Then he quit, and stole our purchased water lines out of our storage area. During this time he did a contract with the my neighbor to power wash her house. She paid him and he never finished the job. She is contacting the NYS office of the aging to help her.

I gave him a down payment for materials.  He delivered a small fraction of material needed.   He worked about 4 hours and removed most of the old Trex decking and said he would finish the job the next day.  He didn't show up the next day so I called and his wife said he was in the hospital.  I called the hospital and they said they had no record of him being admitted.  I never heard from him after that.  I submitted a small claim against him and found that since 2006 there have been at least 8 small claims against him for failing to complete jobs.  Update- He has been charged with 'scheme to defraud' by Livingston Co.
