They were horrible.  I chose them from Angie's List, they were so distressing and I really know how to begin a review.  It's supposed to take a week but it took them over three weeks.  They put my stuffs in storage which they're never supposed to put things in storage.  My house is filled with antiques; they just put in the storage.  They said they would send big truck to my house; they only used a small shuttle truck because they couldn't get to my house and said it would charge me eight hundred dollars extra.  When we called them on it they said it was on our way driving to Texas.  The reason we send our shuttle truck because the big truck was not available.  It was really upsetting and terrible.  The only contact that I had was the name of driver and so I dealt with the driver.  He kept me posted.  The driver was wonderful.  And he reported that he blew a tire and gets the tire fixed.  The days kept me in push back forth...I have to stop here. We set enough time to be here for three weeks.  They showed up on the day that we had to fly back to New York so I have my girlfriend check in the stuff in from the mover.  And when I got back to New York, I went to the office and they were nasty, it was just ridiculous.  They're not going to do anything about it; they don't even cut the price, no compensation for their lies.  It is what it is...

SHOCKING--TERRIBLE AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Quite simply after providing the quote THEY NEVER RETURNED OUR PHONE CALLS TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE QUOTE to enable us to make a decision!---SILENCE FROM THEM!

Nothing else to say about them--their actions (rather lack thereof) speak for themselves.

Would highly recommend Whalen's Moving & Storage.  From start to finish, their service was exceptional. 
The salesman, Brian Boretsky, who gave us the quote was knowledgeable and courteous.  Went out of his way to give us tips on packing and what to expect during the move.  He followed up and was available when we had questions.
The men who packed in Croton were very professional.  They arrived when promised, worked neatly and efficiently.  The truck was clean.  Since it was a small load (50 boxes), they were first loaded onto a small truck at the moving end and then moved to a larger van to drive to Florida. 
The agent, Nicole Depoto, was in contact with us throughout the process.   All paperwork was prepared and delivered as promised and she was on top of our move the whole way, providing us with updates on moving and delivery dates.
The men who made the delivery to the storage unit with the large van were very pleasant and professional.  They were in telephone contact with us as they drove from NY to Florida to let us know approximately when they would arrive, and were at the storage facility at the arranged date and time.  They unloaded and stacked the boxes in the storage unit neatly.  Nothing was lost and everything arrived in good condition. 
Great moving experience!

The communication was great! He came over from Westchester and we were in contact the whole time. He was quick. The estimate is very reasonable. It includes packing and everything, I have options and I am quite happy with them. It was satisfactory, and I plan on using them for my move!

THEY WERE VERY NICE ON THE PHONE. THEY GAVE ME A VERY ACCURATE ESTIMATE, AND THE MOVERS WHO ACTUALLY MOVED THE STUFF WERE NICE. THE GUYS WERE PATIENT AND PROFESSIONAL.
