Apparently the company technician did not understand my explanation of our problem and did not ask enough questions of me to do so. We knew the blockage was between the house and the tank and that the tank did not need to be pumped out. I did not realize this company only pumps tanks and does not do line work. The driver arrived and immediately told us he couldn't do anything with our problem. I called the next day and spoke to an office person who was not particularly sympathetic but she did agree that her technician should have done a better job of understanding the problem. Despite that acknowledgement, she would not give me any discount on the cost of the service. I subsequently sent an email to the owner of the company who has since responded very appropriately and given us a partial credit on our service in light of the misunderstanding. I had initially been disappointed by the lack of customer service we received but the owner acknowledged some responsibility for the and turned it around for us. When the time comes that we need to have our septic tank pumped, I will call them again to do the work they specialize in.
