Valley Plumbing and Septic

Please beware! Valley Plumbing (aka Jason & Pam Slover) will demand payment upfront and disappear. They requested a deposit and first half of payment due on a start date. However, they never started the job and ignored all of our calls. We only heard from them when they demanded even more money. Horrible experience!

My search for a plumbing contractor was frustrating at first .Contractors made the Job seem very complicated. When Jason from Valley Sewer explained the scope of the work , I was put at ease. We were on the same page with everything . Communicate was Excellent! They put in a lot of hard work at a very fair price . .Pam was also a pleasure to work with . I would definitely use them for any future plumbing projects.

They are not responsible or people of their word. If something goes wrong, don't expect it to get fixed right away because by then they wont get back to you. For a brand new septic tank they gave me a 1 year warranty. They left me with a noxious fume filling my home and toilet issues with absolutely no support or service on their part.

The proprietor, Jason , was a pleasure to deal with. The job was conceived and completed in four days. Terrific crew, excellent installation and clean up.

Came and went without me even having to be home..Installed a new sump pump in the crawl space of our home on Orange Lake. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had just moved into my new home and with all the rain we were experiencing, my downstairs family room flooded. I called Jason and he was at my house the next day installing a sump pump! Jason, Mike and Rick are the best! I was having a problem with septic smell in my vacation home in Sullivan County. My local plumber had no interest in actually diagnosing the problem. All he did was put band-aids on the problem and said "see if this works). Needless to say, nothing he did got rid of the problem. I called 5 other plumbers in Sullivan County and no one even returned my call. I found Jason on Home Advisor. He is not in Sullivan County but his listing said they service the area. I called, got Jason on the phone and we made an appointment. He came in and said until he opened the wall he could not be sure, so he gave me a best case and worst case scenario, price wise. Turns out, it was the worst case....my entire drain line needed to be redone from the house to where it hooked up to the new septic system. They came back dug a trench in not the best of circumstances because of the weather and re-plumbed the drain. I will be using them as my plumbers from now on! I don't think you'll find a more competent plumber serving Sullivan County! And Jason is a hell of a nice guy!

I had the worse experience with Jason the owner of Valley Plumbing. He is a cheat and a liar. He told me one thing and then he did another. I spent over $28,000.00 dollars in a septic system that should have cost me $16,000 or less as per three other contractors. I went with his business because he talks a good game, but customer be ware he is a devil in disguised. He messed up my great working old system and the new one he installed created a nightmare that I have not woken up from yet. Due to his major mistake with my old system, after he took it off line and the new system he installed did not support the amount of water going to the field, the field was flooded all the time. After I contacted him one month after his disastrous job, he found a million reason not to come back to fix it. He came back after I spent closed to $9000.00 trying to fix his mistake with others contractors and engineering plans. In the end I ended up finding the mistake he made that cause all the aggravations and headaches. I gave him another chance to fix the issue and once he saw what cause the damage, he blamed one of his employees and his response was, " he was an idiot and that's why he is not longer working for me". One he fixed the 4' pipe that caused and additional $9000.00 to rectified, he still was not being responsible for causing the flood conditions in the new area that he installed and he blamed it on a change on my land water table, mind you that I have been here for 18 years and my yard never had an issue with water, nor my old septic system. Therefore, because of his lack of responsibility and his ingenuity to convince the town that my ground was the lucky one that was struck by lighting and hit the bad luck jackpot, I have to build a curtain around his new system that will cost upward of $6000.00 dollars. I would stay away from that crook. I am available if you need to see all the paperwork and permit rejection I got because a 4' pipe Jason and Valley Plumbing installed the wrong way, making the water flow go in the wrong direction with a negative flow. STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Professional from start to finish, Jason, Mike & Jason polite and cleaned up nicely after job. Project done on time and without unpleasant surprises. Quality, warranted components used, Jason explained every element of job completely and answered questions effectively. Prbblem solved! Thanks guys!

Jason was very professional. Came out for a free estimate to evaluate my current water softening system and determine what needed to be updated and replaced. The project was completed the following week on time and on budget. Would highly recommend for any plumbing needs.

As soon as I met Jason from Valley Plumbing I new this was who I wanted do do the job. He took care of everything from start to finnish including all paperwork for the town. He kept me informed of what hews doing,and why the whole time. I highly recommend him.

Everything went so well. Jason and his crew, were friendly and answered any questions we had. They were very polite, and easy to work with. plus they finished in 1 day, and even replanted a bush they had to move.

A call from Jason came minutes after I put the reason for the job. I found Jason very courteous and knowledgeable. The price quoted for the septic system was very fair. Jason, Mike and Jamie were prompt, worked very hard and I am very pleased with the work that was done.

The original job of replacing a water softener and house filter was done on time and as contracted. While he was in the house, I asked about replacing an exterior faucet that had frozen over the winter. Jason scheduled a date that week (as I was on vacation) and suggested replacing some valves that were no longer closing completely including a whole-house shutoff valve. Jason came and replaced the valves and faucet that Thursday. At 2 AM on Sunday morning, we discovered water on the floor and a pinhole leak where the new pipe met the old copper. I used my new shutoff valve to turn off the water and my wife emailled Jason about the situation and asked him to call first thing in the morning. Jason called me at 8:20 in the morning, then came right over. He told me that the old copper was so thin that it really should be replaced. He gave me a temporary fix so the house would have water, but said I should not trust the "tiger-claw" fitting for the long term. He did not charge me for this emergency house-call that happened to be on Easter Sunday. As requested, he texted me an estimate to replace the old pipe later that day, and I had him come back the next day to complete the work. At all times Jason and Mike were cordial and professional. They worked quickly, clearly knew what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. They were more than happy to answer my questions and make suggestions about how things could be more conveniently placed (and what things should be replaced). I am happy with the work and would higher this firm again.
