Chris & his son laid the wire with corresponding flags and installed the power box grid. Upon completion, he trained our pup with our help to show us how it should be done over the next week. The dog basically only required one "shock"...He did come back a few days later to follow up with the training and we even called him about a month later to ask about what seemed to be an absence of power, which in turn it ended up that the collar was too loose. We have since then gotten another pup, and we will be i would imagine getting aother collar, although we have to wait until he is older than 6 months. My only concern is the cost of the newest collar and that it could get pricey...However, we shall see. Chris was friendly, informative, & helpful.

Chris Arndt gives great service. We have had our fence for nearly 4 years now!!!! It is great! Gives the dogs...and us ...freedom! No walking animals in rain or snow! And they can get plenty of exercise! And they are safe from traffic in the confines of our yard. Chris walks you thru the training process. Most recently, Chris tested one of our receivers to make sure it was still working properly. There was no charge for this. I think there were costs if repair was needed. And I recently ordered replacement collars which showed up within a few days.

As professional as can be with both installation and training.  Even came back immediately to repair lines after landscaper accidentally hit.  All around great crew.

Overall I am extremely please with Dog Guard's service and equipment and it has ultimately been a lifesaver for my dogs who tried very hard to go on all of our neighbor's properties.  Chris came to our house to review the property boundaries and meet our 2 dogs who were going to be confined within the boundaries of the invisible dog fence.  Once he got to know the dogs personalities he prepared a plan for putting in the fence underground and which collars would best suit them.  It was wintertime when we wanted the fence so they were kind enough to install it above ground until the snow melted and then came back again in  the spring to install it under the ground. 
This was great, so we did not have to wait for many months to use it.  He showed us how to flag our property and he spent 3 - 4 different
visits with us to train our dogs appropriately (we had 1 very stubborn dog).   My dogs tolerated the collars very well and have fully learned
where the boundaries are very quickly.  Chris has also helped us with batteries and fixing collars when needed.  He was extremely courteous, professional, prompt and I have already recommended him to my clientele.  I, myself, am a veterinarian and I
highly recommend Dog Guard of Hudson Valley, LLC for my patients.

Chris was great!  Not only did he install the fence great, but also helped me train the dogs to the fence.  Within almost a week's time, I was able to let the dogs enjoy the yard without a worry of them disappearing!  We never had a problem of the dogs being afraid of the fence.  One of my concerns was that because we have large dogs (120# +) was the fence strong enough to be able to stop them should they want to chase a deer?  it sure is, never did the dogs get through, they know exactly where they can and cannot go!  I have recommended Chris and Hudson Valley Dog Guard to may friends and truly believe this is the best out there!

The service turned out very well. They did a good job. The owner came and did a couple extra consults after the install to make sure everything turned out well which was very nice.
