About us
I established my practice in 1988 with a focus on Historic Preservation and exterior restoration. Over the 40 years of practice I have gravitated toward renovations and new construction that impact older structures or historic contexts. My practice is eclectic and a result of varied experience. In part, living overseas, in France, Italy, Brazil and Belgium had the most influence in my becoming an Architect. I began my professional career in Washington, DC and came to New York after receiving a Masters degree in Architecture specializing in historic preservation. Whether restoring historic buildings or expanding and renovating others, I am committed to achieving a result that serves my clients' needs and provides beauty with lasting value. I continue to pursue preservation ideals, not only to preserve the built environment, but to recycle, restore and create a healthy built environment. Energy conservation and sustainable architecture is rooted in the preservation
