Indoor air Quality

Time to deal with a basement moisture issue.  Met with John from GLC who seemed to be knowledgeable and competent.  The work was done while I was away working on the SuperStorm Sandy response.  The project was to waterproof the basement and garage areas and provide a new concrete floor for the garage.
To make a long story short, when I returned home I found the promised drainage had been installed but water continued to be seen in the concrete slab that remained.  The garage floor was new but uneven, unfinished in areas, and pitched in such a way that water puddles and does not run off.  This was blamed on the concrete vendor using the wrong cement mix which apparently was somehow my fault.
GLC seemed upset with my dissatisfaction and even offered to re-install some of their piping which I had another contractor remediate.  My experience was poor at best.  I was left with a waterproofing job that cost me thousands to fix and a garage floor which I'm still not sure how to fix.  My wife, who was home for the project, found the crew to be rude and unprofessional.  Think twice before using this company.

Not honest  and rude owner, sloppy and very low quality work.
The owner did not response on my many calls and e-mails
regarding problems after their waterproofing. John Bata is his name but I do not remember exactly.
I am shocked that such company is still in Angie's list.
Avoid it and do not repeat my mistake.
