Repair guy came the very next morning and fixed it.

My fridge got broken Sept 2017. The person from Appliance Medic (Monsey location) showed up as official LG Repair Representative. He did some diagnostics (he was constantly on the phone asking for advice) and told me that he need to order some parts (refused to tell me what parts exactly) and it will take 1-2 weeks. That's it. Right now its March 2018 and my fridge is still broken. No parts, no calls, no return calls, no service. All my calls and messages are ignored. Stay away from this company.

I was having trouble finding someone in my area to service a very high end barbecue.  Appliance Medic assured me that they repair DCS grills all the time.  The fee was $69 to determine what parts were needed, deductible from the final bill. A very young man with overwhelming body odor came to my house.  He asked my housekeeper to show him how to turn on the grill!.  He looked around, took the $69 from my housekeeper and left.When I called to inquire about the repair, they said they were ordering parts. 
When I asked what parts they were ordering, I was told that they know exactly what they need.  The first few times I called back, I was told that the parts are coming.  Now, three months later, when I call they hang up on me.  I have asked for my $69 back and they hang up on me. No service was performed for my $69, no parts were ordered, and the disgusting technician they sent to my house had no clue how to work the barbecue, let alone repair it.

I am a new homeowner and bought a home warranty in order to protect against appliance/plumbing/electrical problems in the first year of ownership.  My refrigerator was not working properly, so I filed a claim with the warranty provider.  I was referred to Appliance Medic through this program.  When I called, the person at Appliance Medic asked for my phone number and I gave them my cell.  They insisted I provide a home phone number, even after I explained that the cell is always with me and that I am at work all day and cannot answer the home phone.  Nonetheless, I gave them my home phone number "for the record."  On the day of the appointment, which was scheduled between 10am and 1pm, I asked my father-in-law to stay at the house to greet the repairman.  At 1pm, no one had shown yet.  I called Appliance Medic from work and the person on the phone said someone would be at the house "any second now."  At 2:15pm, with my father-in-law still waiting, I called Appliance Medic back and told them to forget it.  When I got home later that day, there was a message left on my home phone at 2pm waiting for me.  It was Appliance Medic asking for a return call about my repair.

THE MAJOR COMPLAINT WAS GETTING HIM HERE AND GETTING THE PART. IT TOOK A LOT LONGER THEN WE HAD ANTICIPATED. THE WORK WAS GOOD.

WHEN THEY CAME AND THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, THEY WERE FINE. WHEN I CALLED THEM BACK, THEY WEREN'T RESPONSIVE. IT WAS GOOD WORK. THE GUY SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. THEY WERE COURTEOUS. THEY SEEMED TO KNOW THEIR STUFF.
