"I would like to address this review on several levels. To begin with, this customer called for service on the 10th, I was there on the 11th. Customer said she had a Kenmore dishwasher, 6+ years old, not draining or washing well. What I found was a dishwasher from the mid 1990's, a 20 year old machine. The overall condition of the dishwasher was terrible.I determined a new motor and pump was needed. The replacement motor cost was $304.00, the service and technician time to repair would run $175.00. Putting this repair at a total of $479.00 plus tax. This dishwasher costs roughly $500.00, new. I advised it would not pay to fix. Any reputable repairman would have done the same, this machine was not worth repairing. I did charge for my service time. I charge $80.00 plus tax for coming out to your home and making a diagnosis on your appliance. This customer was not happy that she had to pay the service fee, even though she knew in advance it was due."
I had contacted my usual service repair person who could not come to look at my machine for at least 10 days,despite the urgency of the matter.! I went to Angie"s List to find a vendor to get my washing machine fixed ASAP. I contacted another vendor on Angie"s List and he was unable to come out for at least 5 days! Jim responded quickly to my voice mail and arranged to come out the following morning!
Jim was amazing! I am so grateful for his prompt response for service! I explained my plight,and Jim rearranged his schedule to come the NEXT DAY to fix my washer.
Jim was friendly,prompt and professional.He identified the problem quickly,made the necessary repairs and charged a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to use Jim's services again and would recommend his services highly.
