Horrible experience. Let me first say, why in the world there are no reviews about this man Dan McInerney is beyond me. I spoke to literally everyone I met about him that lives in the area and everyone asked me why in the world did I hire him?
The work was to be completed within 2 weeks of start date...After two weeks of work was no where near complete...after SIX weeks, work was almost complete. At this point my wife and myself where upset beyond all comprehension and stopped work with him. The mulch area on the side of the house that was "Completed" has NO anti-weed carpet under it as it was suppose to as per contract.
The windows there where replaced in the basement were not finished in the interior of the home, the insulation is still showing.
The front door molding had to be done 3 times to get it right
The walk in closets are about the only thing he got right and those where still unfinished after six weeks.
He leaves a mess everywhere, shows up LATE...when I say late...I mean LATE. He says 8:15...go out for breakfast and do your morning errands, this man isn't showing up til atleast 11am.
The ONLY TIME in SIX WEEKS he was punctual was when he sent his employees to clear his tools out of my home after he was fired.
IF and I mean IF you are literally dumb enough to hire this man or his company which goes by two names DMAC Design and Development or Creative Contractors then I hope you expect nothing but shoddy work and constant no shows and a VERY VERY long wait for your work to be completed.
Please, do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

After
many postponements, Danny showed up on 6/21/13 and said he was bringing 3 foot
arborvitaes. I told my husband, and my husband called him, at which time Danny
said that he never said that. Although upset, I wanted this job done already,
and explained that since the goal was privacy I could accept another fast
growing tree, but it had to be 6' tall. Danny said it was a good thing I was
there (I had taken off work to make sure this was going to get done right). He
showed up 8 hours later with 12 6' slow growing arborvitae (I looked that up
after he left, when he arrived with them he said they were fast growing),
planted 4, without loosening or taking the wire and burlap off, and barely
digging to plant, and said that he had to leave in an hour to take his son to a
baseball game. He obviously did not know what he was doing and this was a job that
would never end, nor would it be done right. It was also obvious that the money
that I gave him was not spent to purchase the trees that I ordered from Danny.
He was out shopping for trees on 6/21/13 2 weeks after I had given him the
money. In an effort to get the job done, he wanted me to sacrifice what I
wanted and got extremely upset when I was not willing do so. He brought police
to my house because his equipment was blocked in by my cars and took the
remaining 8 trees with his trailer, and left me with a mess.

Terribly. Daniel kept using excuses not to show. Workers walked off the job when questioned regarding quality and supplies and they never returned.
