Window King II

The salesperson measured the window incorrectly and it was discovered after the old window was removed and the replacement was found to be 1" too wide. The installers arrived late and drunk. They then tried to remove the old window by prying it out while the glass was still in the window frames breaking glass and creating a huge mess and an injury to the helper. Fitting the replacement in became a huge mess but it had to be installed since they had already removed the old window. They also soiled an oriental rug which I had to have cleaned for $300. The owner said they would pay for cleaning but never did. They also did not cap the outside and I had to call them numerous times before they finally sent the same installer to do the work a month later. The work is shoddy and amateurish. The company has been completely dishonest and unresponsive. Their advertising implies that they are "the newest location" of Window King in the Bronx but I spoke to the owner there, who told me they are two separate companies and they have nothing to do with the people at Window King II Thornwood. He also said that they have received many complaints from people who used Window King II unwittingly. I used them because I thought they were the same as the Bronx company, recommended by a neighbor, and it appears, many others have been deceived by this.
