About us
My building experience began in the UK, where I was schooled in the construction field. Working in both residential and local government construction, I learned first hand how early era buildings could be restored and improved upon. I subsequently opened a small construction company operating in the residential market. In 1979 I moved to the USA where I continued my work, but on a more personal level. I take part in every aspect of my projects to insure trouble-free jobs. I have been engaged in the construction trade throughout Westchester County, NY, since 1980 building additions, kitchens, bathrooms, decks etc.etc.etc.

"Angie's List is relatively new to me, as are websites. In the past I have collected notes left for me by my customers showing their appreciation for my work and have, since the advent of digital cameras, taken some pictures of some of my work. The notes I keep in a large folder and have scanned a few of them for my relatively new website: http://peterbscholes.com. When my customer mentioned she used Angie's List, I asked her how it worked, and she mentioned that she had commented on the site about my work. I had to look. So after registering, and updating my information, I was able to view comments about my works. I am very pleased to see that because of my work and the way I treat people, that I have gained another long term customer, and can't wait to see more comments. It is others appreciation in what I do that makes it a pleasure to go out to work."
