The entire process took about 4 1/2 MONTHS to complete as Phil would not return messages or phone calls and took his time to come back to finish the job.  The fan in one of the bedrooms was NEVER installed.  All of the hihats started to flicker and a few actually completely went out.  We tried numerous times to get in touch with him to come and see what the issue was - we live in very close proximity to Mohegan Lake and it would be a courtesy to swing by to see what could be done.  
Instead Phil tried blaming the flickering lights on us - the people who hired him.  How blame could be placed on the people who needed to hire a professional and qualified electrician when the very "qualified" and very (now known) unprofessional electrician Phil was the one who did all of the work with his own hands and never told us otherwise.  He never came to install the remaining bedroom fan either.
After much frustration and having to deal with headaches from flickering lights in our home, we had to call another electrician to come in and inspect the lights and install the fan that was never installed (but Phil took payment for).  The second electrician charged us $100 for his services.
Phil had no problem taking the cash to the bank.  He is greedy, lazy and dishonest.  Everyone I have told cannot believe how long he took and that he did not have the decency to come back to resolve the issue.  He cost us a lot of money for a job that was done to DISSATISFACTION.  I have video taped the flickering lights although hard to capture on still picture.  
I also received word that he came in contact with someone we both know and bad mouthed me saying that, "I was a customer from h*** and he had to change his number because I called so much".  Of course this message was brought right back to me - and on everything that is good and holy - that is a lie; the fact is most of my calls were in desperation to try to get him to finish his job was paid $4,500 and it was not often... he never responded to those calls!  It came to the point I texted him so that I would have hard evidence of all communications which I still have saved.  To think that on top of it all, to add insult to injury - this unprofessional person goes and bad mouths clients behind their backs.  No Good.  Terrible Terrible Service.
