The owner (Dennis)of CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION was a hands on worker, and participated in the daily activities working with the crew. The CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION crew was professional, reliable, and very competent. I highly recommend CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION.

This company was recommended to me by someone else who had done work on our house. I called Jimmy and he came over later the same day. He listened carefully to what I wanted to have done and made some very good suggestions as to alternatives and details. He measured the driveway and walkway and gave me a quote while he was there. I called in a couple of days and told him I wanted him to do the work. He told me he would be there the next time the weather allowed which looked like it should be the following Monday. He arrived early that morning with a team of 5 or 6 men. He explained the details of the project to his men and they got to work immediately and had the old walkway taken up in no time. They then put in the appropriate base material and tamped it down very well. Then they laid the main part of the walk using Unibloc pavers which they also put on the concrete pad in front of the front door and built two steps to the driveway at the end of the walk. They devoted the rest of the day to the driveway; digging up the roots and the damaged asphalt. Then putting in the foundation and asphalt to replace that which was removed. They than put a layer of asphalt over the new part as well as the rest of the driveway so that it would all look uniform. This was finished by late afternoon. The next day they arrived early and completed the walkway.
All of the workers worked very hard and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Jimmy or his brother stayed around the entire time the work was being done and made sure everything was done correctly.
Jimmy is a perfectionist and is very proud of his work. He demonstrated in great detail how he had carefully sloped the asphalt so that the rain water would all run off the side of the driveway and not collect against the garage door as it had previously.
He doesn't cut corners and does everything in the best way even if it takes him a little longer and uses the best materials even if it costs him a little more.
They cleaned up the area when they were done each day.
We are delighted with the results and have received many positive comments from neighbors and visitors.
