It took four hours and the doorbell still does not work. We asked them to come back and fix it and his associate called back and said they'd call us back when they could come over. Never heard back from them. I called again and left a message and still haven't heard back. The associate said the chime cost about $35.00 (same chime at Lowe's for $16.00) but didn't give us a receipt. Then he said they got the doorbell from their shop and it was new. It took a long time to do the work that we needed done and the price was exorbitant and shocking. The associate didn't seem knowledgeable and did all of the work by following the contractor's instructions. The contractor didn't do any of the work so we feel like we had to pay a beginner and the contractor. If the contractor did the work it wouldn't have taken so long. We are thoroughly disgusted and would never have them back. We asked 2 other people with knowledge of electrical work what the prevailing rate was and their estimate was between $25.00 and $35.00 per hour. No itemized receipt was given to show actual cost of materials and labor. Since mentioning this contractor's name, several people have said that I shouldn't have hiired them. Like your commercial says, "don't let these people near your home"!!
