Paul immediately knew how to fix my leak and it only took a day.

The job could not have gone better. Two of the firebox refractories and the grate needed replacing. Jonathan was able to not only locate the parts very quickly, but replace them along with the cleaning in one visit. I was then able to utilize and enjoy my fireplace faster than anticipated. I have been using JP Chimney services for over 15 years. They are true professionals, and are always fair and reasonable with their pricing.

Jonathan did the work himself and as always did a great job! He's out to make a living and NOT to rip people off. Jonathan was promptly on time and is respectful of our home. JP Chimney was on time, called prior to coming to say they were on their way. Removed old stove and took it away. Installed new stove. Job took about 75 minutes and very reasonably priced. I continue to use JP Chimney in August every year to clean out my wood stove insert prior to upcoming heating season and will continue to use because they are professionals and reasonably priced.

JP Chimney was great! They went above and beyond, not only performing a great cleaning, but fixing a clean out and building a great test fire ina troublesome wood stove. They didn’t leave until everything was inperfect working order. I look forward to working with them again.

They are awesome.  I've used them quite a few times.  I'd give them an "A" down the line except pricing.  I think the pricing is bit expensive.  This work is expensive work, so I know you pay more for them and they just don't cut corners.  Not sure it's fair to give them a lower grade for that.  I did some comparative pricing but at the end of the day they are just so good.

The two gents that came arrived in town a little earlier than expected, but called before arriving. (Very considerate!) They were professional, informative, and open to questions (from this new homeowner who's also new to the region). Based on the large amount of soot on Mark and lack of soot in my living room, I'd say this was a success.

Went great. Arrived at the time they said they would be here. Job took shorter than I expected. They rebuilt the chimney with new bricks and added a few corses for height. After the work was performed we had heavy rains for a couple of days and no water came in. I would hire them again if I need to.

JP came out very quickly in response to my call and were able to give me an estimate on the spot. When they completed the work , they arrived promptly and worked through out the day despite the less than perfect NE weather conditions they had to deal with. The work was completed to schedule and below the estimate. The work team cleaned up after they finished and have left me with a great chimney.

Fireplace works great!. Chimney topper good quality. Very pleased with Jonathan's work. Does things when he says he will. I asked him if he wanted to do the topper when it wasn't so freezing cold & he laughed & did it in the cold. I can't recommend him enough!

Job is completed with the utmost care and respect for our home. We now enjoy our wood stove all winter. They clean our stove, fireplace and boiler chimney every year.

Excellent all around. First of all, Jonathan came to inspect the two chimneys before our purchase and let me know that one of them was quite deficient, which aided us in negotiations. We knew the other chimney needed cleaning but during a summer downpour saw water dripping in. Jonathan came and honestly admitted it was tricky to diagnose for sure, so recommended a lower cost option of applying water repellent to the aging bricks to see what effect that may have, along with patching up some mortar. A few weeks later, his team of Mark and Gary came out (a little late, but whatever) and did a stellar job. Mark determined that the chimney only needed a light cleaning and the price for that ended up being less than the estimate: how often does that happen, folks? Both guys examined and worked on the outer masonry and gave good insights into its shape and further ideas on maintenance to lengthen its lifespan. Very professional, very nice, hard working people. No wonder these guys are booked well out, so if you need them you may need to be flexible on timing.

Jonathan is very professional and knowledgeable. We were purchasing a home and needed an inspection and advice on two chimneys that had issues. He did a thorough inspection and provided excellent advice. We will certainly use him again for all chimney work!
