Well, the morning of my appointment, the employee arrived promptly at 8am. Actually, he called on the way to my home. He introduced himself, and completed the job. And, I am totally satisfied with no complains.

On August 2, 2014, two workers came and installed the awning. They were very professional and cleaned everything up when they left. The awning I chose has an insulated roof and can be converted to a closed in porch in the future.

We had a sunroom installed by Wendel on 7/12/06. Installation went fine BUT now years later the whole roof leaks. Several years ago a repair man came out and caulked the area where the sunroom meets the house since at the time there was only a small leak which we were able pinpoint to this area. For the most part the issue was fixed but if we had a severe rain storm we still had leaks. This year the problem is back..not only is the original leak back but the seams of the insulated roof panels are leaking. It appears that the panels have separated a little bit. While both my husband and I understand that this could be a normal issue due to the age of the roof we reached out to Wendel to have repairs made to correct the leaking issues. My husband originally called and was advised that someone would call back. He never received a call back! He then called again last week and explained again what the issues are and was told that someone would be at our house this morning, They showed up but could not fix the problems since they did not have the appropriate materials with them. I cannot believe that they showed up without any materials when my husband specifically called twice and explained what the issues are. The serviceman spoke to my husband about two possible options for repairs but did not give him any quotes for the repair options. The serviceman also mentioned that we should have maintained the roof better. I explained to him that we never had a sunroom before and no one mentioned that the roof need regular maintence at the time of installation or during the consulation when we signed the contract on 4/3/06. He looked at me and said you check your windows on your house for leaks therefore you should check the sunroom. I have windows in my house for 15 years and never had to do any maintenance on them. If we were advised from the beginning that there this room required certain maintenance we certainly would have taken care of this on a regular basis. So now my husband once again has to call their office. In the meantime we are afraid that there maybe more rain before this issue is resolved and our furniture and flooring is going to get soaked again. Because of this we have put a tarp on our roof to protect our furniture and floor from any further water damage. We originally reached out to Wendel to ensure that the issues were corrected properly and we have gotten nowhere. We are very disappointed and I would not recommend Wendel to anyone based on the way they have handled this situation. At this time we still do not have a remedy for our situation and we do not no where to go for help
At this time a representative from Wendel has spoken with my husband and we have a date of October 4th for repair work to be done. Will update again after the repairs are completed
Repairs were done on October 21st and we have had several bad rain storms and no water!!

When he initially called to report a leak he was told he would receive a phone call back within a certain time frame to schedule an appointment. Yes, he did call again, before that time frame. When our representative spoke to your husband to set an appointment he was informed a mechanic would be coming to your house to assess the leak & see what repairs would be needed. If it was a small repair the mechanic would have caulked, etc at that time. However, this was not the situation. Therefore, the office was able to set up another date to make the necessary repairs. At the time of their estimate, our customers are given a time frame when their job will be installed. Actual installation dates are scheduled by the office closer to the installation date. Grading our company an F because you did not receive a phone call back from the person who handles the scheduling until 2 days later is a very harsh criticism. Overall,your job was installed in the time frame you were quoted & I'm glad you were pleased with the quality of your patio cover and your installation crew as well.
