LEARN & PLAY

While no day care is perfect, my children have thrived, learned, acquired new skills and developed friendships while at the school. We have had intermittent issues at the school, all of which have been addressed in some manner or another. My children seem very well loved and cared for. I learned that at a staff holiday party, when asked what the teachers were thankful for, one of the teachers said she was thankful for my son. This to me really truly evidences the hearts that the teachers at the school have for the children. Just like in regular school, there are teachers who seem less than enthusiastic about their job; however, those people are few and far between at Land P. I am grateful to have found this place and am similarly grateful for all that my children have learned and continue to learn.

My kid really enjoys going there. He seems happy at his and quot;schooland quot; and I think the approach of and quot;keeping children happy - and they will learn and thrive when they are most happyand quot; is a great one. Emotional intelligence and social skills are important. This place truly emphasized the happiness of the little ones. When I was told that (have a happy kid, and they will develop well and be well adjusted to fit in and play with others, etc) by Madhu in November 2011, I'll admit, I did think it was a little bit of nonsense to me. But it has worked with my child. (Am I lucky? Perhaps. Is my child unique? I doubt it. Who knows.) A lot of the kids here seem happy. Mine sure is!

NOTE: The cost varies. I listed our yearly cost above. But, depending on your child's age, the tuition could be more. I think the cost for newborns is higher but the older the child becomes, the less tuition is. (You can discuss tuition and with the administration.) All I know is, when my kid turned three, we enjoyed a drop in tuition, which was nice. It is fairly-priced. You can go somewhere else and pay more in tuition, sure. But for the kind of care you get for the cost, the quality of care is terrific!
