Terranova Plumbing & Heating

Joe Terranova has my highest recommendation possible. I had a ruptured waste-water pipe, resulting in several inches of septic effluent in my basement. He recommended a clean-up service (Greg of Steamway 631-433-8209 who did a terrific job), and then he repaired the broken pipe. Prompt, gentlemanly, friendly, highly competent - can't say enough good things about Joe and his assistant. I'm considerably disabled and he patiently helped me up & down a tricky flight of stairs so I could see the basement and assess the damage to my possessions. He even treated me to a cup of coffee when he went to the plumbing supply for parts. I'd recommend Joe without reservation; his work is exceptional and he's a very kind, skilled, good-natured person.

It went extremely well.

Our laundry hoses were so calcified to the pipes that it was basically impossible to remove them in order to replace them. We definitely needed a plumber to assist and we were referred to Terranova Plumbing. We gave them a call, and within a day had an appointment. We had them move the hoses to a more convenient space on the wall in order to gain better access and make it more efficient. They arrived right on time, explained everything they were going to do, and even answered my questions about completely different plumbing situations in the house. (Including an estimate for another job we may do in the near future). They did a perfect job in my opinion-even cleaned up after themselves. I'm not an expert but I know when something is done correctly. This was probably a simple job for professional plumbers, but we appreciated that it was done correctly and with attention to detail you might not see on a smaller job elsewhere. In addition, we felt the price was reasonable and fair. So-we have our 'go to' plumbers now. :)

Overall. I'm happy with the finished work. My only complaint other than the late show, was the price. I do feel it was pretty steep but I was in a pinch. I would probably have them do more work for me if i had time to look around and get a good idea if their price is reasonable.

They saved me from Sandy! With the nights getting cold, and no generators or fuel to be had, I finally found a natural gas heater, but would need a plumber to install, which proved difficult with the auto fuel shortage and timing. Terranova gave me a same day appointment on a Sunday, and got the job done quickly. They were pleasant and professional. Joe even taught me how to built a proper fire in the fireplace!

These guys are really great. In 2009 we had a fire, when my house was being rebuilt they did all the heating and plumbing. They did fine work. All plumbing and heating went without a hitch. Now 3 years later I called them to replace a faulty bathroom sink fixture and depressurize my sprinkler system. They were more then kind enough to replace the fixture without charge. So glad I know them because my basement bathroom pump is causing problem this weekend. I know they will respond quickly and what ever they charge will be a fair price. That takes a lot of stress out of owning a home.

Men were Professional. Work was neat and clean. Charged for 3 hours labor which included 2 men driving 45 minutes to Lowes to pick up a fitting( which thay should of had)..Also was charged $100 for parts(fitting) Work was good.Pricing seemed excessive.

It went without a hitch. It was in a difficult spot in the ceiling over our eating area where there was a leak in close proximity to a hanging chandelier. He had to deal with a copper pipe that had levelled out over the years and sprung a couple of leaks due to the water and waste sitting in the pipe (it had no pitch). The plumber did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
