"The information in this review is false and an unfair representation of our companies reputation and the hard work we preform on a daily basis. It is upsetting, to say the least, considering that there were specific factors omitted from this review to paint a very one-sided picture of a job that was completed, paid for and signed off (by the customer) as being satisfactory. If you care to read this rebuttal, please do, as it is an unfortunate situation for my company to have these comments posted after we made specific arrangements to be accommodating for this customer. The screens - yes, we normally do remove the screens, mark and clean them as part of our window service.What we will not do is start taking apart and removing a persons window treatments to gain access to the screens. In a circumstance like this we do ask that you remove any obstructive materials so that the screens can be removed properly by our team. At this location in particular blinds had been installed over the screens in a manner which required them completely removed, with use of a drill, from the window. My company will not do this as there is too high a risk of damage to the treatments. It is unfortunate that we were also not informed of this prior to the service date. The ladder - We have no use for a ladder when cleaning residential windows because our UNGER water fed pole system allows us to reach up to 45 ft from the ground level. There was, however, a skylight that we could not reach without a ladder because of an awning that was obstructing the system. Had the homeowner informed us of the obstructed skylight prior to the service we would have provided our own ladder (we own 10 ladders in different sizes and shapes). That being said she had absolutely no problem letting us use her ladder to clean the one skylight the day of the service. Second floor was done from the ground. As for the bent skylight screen - we tried to remove it and couldn't as it seemed stuck. One of the homeowners then removed it so we could clean the skylight and the same homeowner then replaced it himself. The next day we were told it was bent. The windows, which had not been cleaned in years, came out fantastic. Every window in their house was cleaned for a total of $200.00. which is well under industry standard pricing for New York. Customer signed off that the "service was completed and acceptable" without question followed by a "thank you so much." I have to say I am very shocked to have received this review and that they would go so far as to leave out the specific details that influenced how the service was completed."
