Great! Matt and his guys did a great job removing and installing 4 ceiling fixtures. I purchased the fixtures but didn’t realize one came with a broken socket. The guys didn’t give up they were able to repair and install. They are polite clean and prompt. Will hire again. Thank you

I would highly recommend Santella for residential electrical work. I requested quotes from multiple companies for a wide range of work, including bringing existing wiring to code, repairing issues, installing new outlets, junction boxes and external lighting and video. They were excellent with communication and follow-up, transparent in pricing and risks/assumptions, were available more quickly than others, and offered competitive pricing. On the job they were fast and efficient, professional, didn’t try to up sell, did high quality work, and cleaned up. I will be using them again for all future work.

Matt and his main guy Thomas are tops. I've hired Santella before to do intricate jobs and his work has always been great. A side note, Matt stuck to his estimate and made the extra effort during the inflation blitz of 2022. You don't find that often. Anyone looking to build out either a residential home or commercial greenhouse can hire Santella with full confidence.

Matt was the subcontractor for the electrical part of a complete house rewiring. A lot went wrong with the general contractor but I had enough direct dealing with Matt to know that his and his team's work was incomplete, sloppy, not to code, dishonest, did damage to my house that they didn't accept responsibility for, and in at least one case a fire and safety hazard. Both Matt and the GC presented the project to me as fully done with just a two item punch list. But the actual list of missing items from the contract were: they hadn't pulled a permit, hadn't worked to code, hadn't wired a new dishwasher to code, hadn't used ARC Fault breakers as required by both contract and code, simple things like socket covers weren't installed or were barely screwed in, electrical trash was everywhere, all the lights had been removed but not a single one was reset. They'd left screws all over my hardwood floors and that caused a lot of damage and they'd destroyed a bunch of the lights that they'd taken down. As I've worked with my new electrician to finish, we've found that a lot of the wiring wasn't replaced. And worse, we found one light where Matt's crew had repurposed a ground wire to run live electricity over. That's a safety hazard. I had so many bad direct experiences where they'd tell me one thing and then it would obviously not be true. Matt told me they'd cleaned up their work but then when I checked the specific area he was working on it was littered with trash (he labeled the electrical box with a label maker and left the clippings all over the floor). Or another time when his crew was walking out of the house they told me they'd finished everything but when I walked in three different newly installed smoke alarms were going off. How can you not notice that? Mainly though the big problem was not finishing and not working to code. This whole project was paid for by my insurance and so it obviously puts me in a bad position to feel like we are defrauding them. Either the GC or Matt or both were very obviously overcharging my insurance for work they weren't going to do.

It went very well considering they had to move a lot of stuff in order to get to the spot where the new panel was going to be installed. They were courteous and friendly and put everything back to where it was when the no was finished.
