Doug knew exactly what I wanted for the project. He had completed it as promised and the craftsman, Mark, was a professional and worked efficiently. If I had a similar project, Doug would be the first I would call.

Doug is very knowledgeable in his field. Removed our old (1938) stair case and replaced with new. Even made material changes without any issues. Also added a long hand rail at cost. He made it easy for us.

Great communication from day 1! both in email and on the phone. The next step was the initial estimate in email and pictures. When we were talking the same language in our phone call afterwards, we agreed on a 'stop by' appointment to confirm, meet and schedule. Scheduling was easy and payment online for the deposit and final was easy too. Everything was confirmed in writing with an audit trail. Then there was the work appointment. It was clear in date, time and which associate was coming. The work order was to repair the hand rail to strengthen it, sand it and stain it to match and replace the missing baluster for the size, shape and color. The work was excellent and the surrounding area was kept neat. It was done on time and within budget. I would definitely use them again if I have another repair job!! Great job Doug and Mark!

Outstanding in every respect. Mark was right on time and was a true craftsman. He re secured our loose stair railings within a reasonable time. He even brought in his own vacuum and removed every bit of sawdust. This is one company I'm glad I found. Thank you for doing such professional work.

It was a stroke of luck to find Doug at Prosperity Stairs and Rails. Our stair rail had not been properly installed 20 years ago, but it took a fall that pulled it partly away from the wall before we took action to make it safe. I had trouble finding appropriate help and was about to settle for a general handyman when Prosperity Rails showed up on HomeAdvisor. I was relieved to put the project into the hands of an expert who arrived with replacement brackets in hand. Now the rail feels like an absolutely solid part of the wall. Thank you, Doug.

I absolutely loved the railing that was replaced in my home! Prosperity Stairs and Rails were professional from the beginning. The carpenter (Mark) was skilled and polite! The Saturday before Christmas, my son was walking up the stairs from the lower floor of our split level ranch and heard a crack and the stairs pulled from the left wall, becoming unstable. Within minutes of getting the recommendation from homeadvisor, I received a call, and set up an appt for Monday morning for an estimate. The sales rep showed up right on time, and quickly gave me a very fair estimate. Understanding that my 72 year old mother, who has had hip and knee replacements would need to use these stairs for Christmas, he was able to get owner Doug, to stop after his 2 already scheduled jobs, that day. Doug called later in the afternoon and was on his way, he came in did the job quickly and efficiently, and as he ran into no challenges, charged me less than the estimate. Instead of charging me for an emergency rush, they made sure I was taken care of and that things were safe for the holiday, and were extremely fair with the charges. Can't ask for anything better than this. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
